[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is quite an exceptional product. The three duracomfort blade system provides a very good shave It is an extraordinarily smooth process. The blade has a great lubrication strip producing a terrific gliding motion. I found the handle to be very comfortable - easy grip. The skin guard made me feel that it was protective. All in all, this razor provided me a comfortable, easy and smooth shave I heartily recommend this product to any one that desires a close, smooth and comfortable shave.

I typically use an electric razor but will switch to blades while travelling. The only issue with the Mach3 was on the very first day of use when it pulled just a little bit while shaving. This is most likely due to it shaving closer than my electric and the hair length being a bit longer. I had no problems with it the rest of the week and the blades stayed sharp the entire time. It cleaned up easily and was ready to to for the next day. Definitely a keeper in my travel kit!

After a weekend without shaving I was ready to test out the Mach 3 against my stubble. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I expected to be underwhelmed coming from my "Quattro" however I was quickly converted. I loved the smaller size if the 3 blade design, it got the hard to reach areas better than the chubky 4 blade razors. It was a smooth shave, no pulling or snagging. I look forward to cleaning my face off again with it tomorrow morning.

The Mach 3 blades give me a great, smooth shave, a well groomed look, and a long lasting choice to add to my razor rotation along with the premium priced blade I have been using exclusively. I have added this to my shaver rotation. I like the smooth feel of the Mach 3, and the handle thickness and weight of the razor make me feel like I am using the Lamborghini of shavers. Not a step down at all. Thin and fast. Doesn't feel flimsy. Can't be beat.

My husband uses these razors to shave his head and these are the only ones he will buy. I actually started using them as well. I absolutely love them. They work better than the women razors and they do not irritate my skin. It's always a smooth finish with them!

The blades are just the right width apart for easy cleaning, and after a week of shaving, the smoothness hasn't diminished. I plan to use this thing for the next several weeks. I have only three minor criticisms: 1) I had difficulty opening the package 2) I like a thicker handle 3) Gillette omitted the top-mounted nose trimming blade Otherwise, this razor held up to all everything Gillette claimed, and then some.

As a woman, I have used the Mach 3 razor for over 10 years. I had always loved the product and could even shave small areas without shaving cream if needed. I always had a great shave without issues. But with these 'new and improved" razor heads, the shave is absolutely terrible. Even with shaving cream I have cut myself so many times and the shave is terrible. I've been getting terrible razor burn, itchiness, ingrown hairs whereas I never had those things before. I had always chosen the true Mach 3 cartridges as they were always the best, now they barely compare to the generic brands. As many of the other recent commenters, I will be buying another brand of razor and using that since these new blades are unusable. I'm hoping this change is reversed as it is not a good one and has completely ruined the product. I'm hoping you will take these reviews into consideration and go back to the product that everyone likes.

For the price, the MACH3 Razor is the best deal for the money in my book. I don't need a four-blade razor. Too cumbersome. Not precise enough. But the MACH3 Razor is perfect! Large enough to get the job done with a close, comfortable shave, yet small enough to maneuver for precise shaving. They got it right the first time with this razor!

..there's no question the mach 3 series is a perfect attribute...especially, when shaving your body..in its entirety. ha. oil of olay bar soap lathered...along with a mach 3 blade....?....the ultimate combination. no shave cream required. as well, each blade has longer life with this method. thanks
