We're surprised and sorry to read your review, as all Gillette razors go through numerous quality tests to ensure a very smooth and comfortable shaving experience. You might already be doing this, but for best performance results, soak in a warm bath or shower for a few minutes to soften your beard, which will then make shaving easier. In addition to shaving with a wet razor and shaving cream/gel, also shave using light strokes in the direction that's most comfortable, to avoid possible nicks and cuts.
