[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love refried beans and this brand but I wasn't too fond of the taste. It had a weird taste to it and it wasn't expired or anything. You definitely have to season it up a but as well. I know they have other refried beans so I will try those next time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old El Paso refried beans taste most like traditional refried beans. I like the consistency. There was nothing I didn’t like. I use the beans mixed in with my ground beef taco filling and they are delicious.

Less than a month ago, I bought these beens at a local grocer. The expiration date was March 2023. I cooked them tonight and I noticed a lot more juice/water but didn't think much of it until my son said they were terrible. Refried beans are usually his fav. I tasted them too and they had a really odd flavor. I assumed they went bad and were defected but after reading these reviews. I am not so sure.

It also has a few whole beans mixed in with the smashed beans which makes it look even more “homemade”and I like that type texture. I have been purchasing this brand of refried beans for yrs and will continue to!! I have recommended this product to friends .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good refried beans that are not greasy, taste good and are budget friendly. Versatile. Good as the main ingredient in dip, for a base in nachos, tostados or in casseroles. Flavorful and a good nutritious staple.

My family and I have eaten Old El Paso traditional refried beans for years!! Lately every can I buy has been disgusting!! Ruins the flavor of whatever we are eating. It tastes like some kind of chemical or something. Definitely doesn't taste like something that's ok to eat. Whatever they did to change the recipe, they need to change it back!!

I was using these beans for a layer dip and took one bite of them and had to spit it out and I threw away the rest of the entire dish which is worth about &30 of rotelle Velveeta Ground beef pico to Gallo and all my time it was disgusting what is wrong with these beans they taste almost like something that’s gone bad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old el Paso products are perfect for when you're in the mood for some Mexican food and the traditional refried beans does not disappoint. They are a mixture of smooth bean paste mixed with pieces of chopped up bean. They have a thicker consistency and a fantastic taste. I love them in a traditional taco or to just make a bean and cheese burrito.
