[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These refried beans are delicious! I have tried a lot of different brands of refried beans and these are one of the best. Not too runny, not too thick and have really good flavor. I eat them on tacos, burritos, and nachos but honestly they are good all by themself with just a little cheese on them.

I agree with most of the other reviews on the refried beans "new recipe". It's basically tasteless paste, and I'm shocked that your development and testing teams determined that it was a better substitute for your old recipe. I won't be buying the "new recipe" again.

My family used to buy this for years when I was younger and I continued to as I had my own family. I would even eat just a can of it for dinner it used to be THAT GOOD !! But I hadn’t had it in while and so I bought it again, I believe right when they changed the recipe because It tasted terrible and nothing like it usually does, I tried to look it up online and see if the recipe had changed as it seemed odd for it to taste so bad. It wasn’t until I tried again a month later it said new recipe on the can and still that nasty taste that I realized why it was different. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD RECIPE !!! I, and so many others, will buy MULTIPLE cans!!! I’m not sure what “consumers” you all had taste it that didn’t like the original flavor but there’s no way you had regular customers tell you it was not a good flavor. They probably only like plain beans with no flavor which they should get a different brand if GOOD flavor was a problem to them. I’m so disappointed I have to get Walmart’s great value brand because it tastes better than the new recipe.

I've tried various store brand but other than cost being less the quality is not nearly as good as Old El Paso. It's worth spending a little more for the quality. Remember you get what you pay for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best refried beans that I just have to heat and eat. A can mixed with a little bacon grease reminds me of the way my grandma made them. We use them in burrritos tacos and often as a side dish. I highly recommend these beans.

We have Tacos every Tuesday and I make the refried beans and yellow rice to accompany our chicken tacos. I also add a giant pile of cheese to the top of the beans. Sooo good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our go too for taco night. Just open and re great and they are done. I've tried the low fat version and it's disgusting so I wouldn't recommend it. It does have a bit of oil on top but I just drain it.

We make chalupas with fried corn tortillas and spread the refried beans on top, cover with seasoned meat, shredded cheese, lettuce and chopped tomatoes. Served with sour cream and hot sauce. Yum! Old El Paso is the best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good flavor. Can be used as a side dish, topping or just for dipping chips. Recommend stirring it in a bowl and heating in the microwave after you get it out of the can to soften it and make it look more appetizing.

I have been buying Old El Paso traditional Refried Beans for 40 years , recently purchased a can for our Taco Tuesday meal . The can of beans had no taste , it was bland and runny. After reading other reviews it seems your new recipe is a flop. I will be looking for a new Brand.
