It tastes almost like normal sugar and no strange aftertaste. I added one pack to my soy milk and it dissolved in very quick and tastes wonderful.

I melts down beautifully in warm drinks and dissolves very well in baking or cooking. It is perfect for the topping of an apple crumble, I love that it gives it a little more texture. I drink 3-5 cups of coffee every day and I always add cream and sweetener. I have switched from artificial sweeteners to In The Raw. It tastes better and I don't need as much for the perfect amount of sweetness. I like the individual packets; easy to take with me on the go.

However, I do find that because the sugar crystals are so large that it can be harder to mix in sometimes, especially with iced coffee. I suggest a tablespoon of hot water to mix the sugar into and then pouring that mixture into your drink

I have to start by saying to me it's like candy just tasting right out of the packet lol it's bigger than the sugar you're probably used to. The sugar crystals aren't bleached so they vary in color of like a golden or light brown but I have to say it is so much better than sugar I'm used to. I now for sure am making the switch to this. I also don't like too much sweetness either. So needless to say I'm very particular about the type of sugar that goes into my coffee. This sugar wasn't too sweet but it was sweet enough. I like really strong coffee too and all I needed was 2 packets to give it just the right amount of sweetness. I also love that its all natural!!
