After all these years of buying Quilted Northern, I have never been disappointed until now. The 24 pack I bought last week is so rough. Not soft and smooth like they used to claim. Will be to changing brands after 30 years of buying Quilted Northern.

We have bought Quilted Northern for many years because we appreciated the great quality. I purchased the "Mega 8 roll" package a week or so ago and have been very disappointed in the quality of the paper. First, the plies do not stay together so that instead of two ply sheets, you have two single ply sheets that you have to put together to be of any use.. Secondly, the tear-off serrations are about 1/2 inch offset on each ply. No, running one of the plies back does not bring the serrations back together. I thought the problem might be with the first roll from the package, but the second has the same problem. The code on the inside of the cardboard roll is "03(or 9)2221PTH BTR0072042". There appears to be a problem in your QA program. I hate to complain about a product like toilet paper, but there is obviously a problem with a product that has been top quality for many years.

Everything we tried either ripped or left behind little trails of toilet paper (yuck!). I finally decided to try Quilted Northern Ultra Soft & Strong. It is, hands down, the best toilet paper I've used. I love the stretch technology and how it's durable, but soft at the same time. It doesn't feel like sandpaper, but it also doesn't feel like a puff ball of dust. It's the PERFECT toilet paper and it's reasonably priced. My family highly recommends it! You won't regret it and your body will thank you!

There is a big difference in quality when you buy Quilted Northern. Much more comfortable and a lot softer. It doesn't tear like other brands and I like that it's not so thin that you have to crumple it up to get softness. I will never go back to any other brand. Thank you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently went out of town to visit in-laws, The only complaint was that they all used the worse toilet paper, It was super uncomfortable. Funny how its the small stuff that you use every day that makes a difference. I was happy to get back home to my everyday routine and happy to use Quilted Northern. Rolls last a long time and makes ''going'' a clean outcome!

I have been a faithful user for years and years, because of the quality and softness of this bath tissue. However, the new formula is like sandpaper, and the two plies on the roll separate and are uneven, making a mess of the roll. Horrible product... wish they had never changed the old formula. Will be finding a new brand after being loyal to Northern for so many years.

YUCK !!! We go through a lot of toilet paper, but I'm sure we'd go through even more with a different brand. We have seven tushes to wipe in this household . We need soft ,but yet strong.

My Mom bought nothing but Northern, and I have followed in her wise and caring footsteps. Northern consistently has the softest, highest quality, strongest and most durable toilet tissue that has ever been made! We travel extensively, and we take Northern with us wherever we go. That other stuff is tooooo harsh to use, and I am allergic to many of them! (What are they putting in their product that anyone could be allergic to!) My "backside" can prove all of this....the saga of the great, the bad and the owwwy! Thank you for continuing to make such an amazing product....please, don't ever stop making it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a good deal on the soft and strong toilet paper and we all REALLY enjoyed the product. So much so that my little 6-year-old daughter, before using the bathroom at my mother-in-laws house, asks her, "Lela, do you have soft and strong toilet paper?" And at one point she had asked if there was soft and strong in the bathroom downstairs because she said she used the bathroom upstairs and the toilet paper broke and, as she says, "that's the worst!"

I bought Northern bathroom tissue many times in the past and have been pleased with those purchases. However, this most recent purchase of this particular product packed 12 compare 48. I noticed that the tissue was very very thin. This was very disappointing to me, especially with how much toilet tissue as well as all paper products cost today.Maybe I just got a bad batch.
