Lipton tea bags have always been a staple in my grandmother's, mother's and my home. Always appreciated the individual wrapped tea bags which were great for transporting in one's handbag or luggage. With this new "unwrapped packaging", you would have to put them in a sandwich zip-lock bag to take along. After opening the foil, the foil does not reclose to keep the bags fresh. Craziest idea ever!!! But, more of an issue than the packaging is the CHANGE in the taste to which we've become accustomed over the decades. I believe the change in taste has occurred because the tea leaves are now pressed and a few years back they were CUT and not pressed. From all of the negative reviews, I would presume your consumers would like to see the return of the OLD CUT TEA - NOT THE NEW PRESSED PROCESS. Lipton USED to be the top of the line tea bag.

The new packaging keeps the tea fresh, AS LONG AS THE FOIL WRAPPER IS SEALED. I'm sure the foil works beautifully, UNTIL IT'S OPENED. The new packaging removes the freshness, the sanitary aspects and the overall convenience. Please quit reassuring us about the foil; it's only good until it's opened. Then, we're left with a tea bag that is not easily kept fresh OR sanitary. You may be saving money, and I know it isn't easy giving us the same consistent flavor from year to year, but all that effort is for naught once the foil is opened. Someone screwed up. The emperor's new tea bag cover? Sigh.

I LOVE Lipton tea, it's the only tea I have used for 20 years and I use a lot of it. I like to keep a jar on my counter with bags inside so I can grab and go easily and this new packaging for me is a nightmare. The tea is losing flavor faster which is ironic since it's advertised as the opposite. It makes a mess everywhere and now I have to keep an entire package out rather than a few bags. I really wish they would go back to the original packaging, it was so much better.

I absolutely love this! My favorite tea. I love the flavor and it's just the perfect amount of caffeine! Honestly I don't think there is anything they can do to improve it cuz it's pretty simple and already great! I will definitely be making future purchases! 

One of my Absolutely Favorite teas to new and Enjoy!! Most defiantly is sometimes my favorite part of the day,Several times throughout the course of 24 hours;Has a nice smooth taste when it hits the back of your throat  throat;Delicious!! Would and Already do buy this All the time!haha

This is great tea! Easy to brew, and wonderful to share. I like mine with waaaay too much sugar, but my husband barely puts sugar in his. 🤣 I don't have any improvements for this product. It doesn't cost very much for 100 tea bags. I will be buying this tea again! 😉 Enjoy!

Well, I'm actually a teen but I love tea! Almost every single time we buy our tea, it's Lipton. The team is quite delicious and had a very nice, clean, crisp taste to it. But, I agree with the majority of these reviews here. I acknowledge the fact that you guys are experimenting with different packaging and that's a good thing. You get to find out what the customers like and don't like. What to stick with and what to discard. I liked the previous packaging style as well and hope you guys will go back to it. Even if you don't, I won't change my teas and be loyal to this brand. Though, I believe it is in your best interest to revert back. I liked the envelope packaging and find it quite and handy when you need some tea to go.

Once you open the foil sleeve (always rips) then the hole in the box top allows air to circulate and soon you have stale tea. I haven't noticed a drastic change in the taste - except from the stale tea! I notice that most of the comments say "you can still buy the old packaging at you club store". Yes I belong to a club store - but why would I drive 10 miles or more for your tea? I'll just switch brands.

I have been enjoying Lipton tea for over 50 years but I am very sorry to say "not any more". Not only have you changed the packaging which is very cumbersome and inconvenient but you have changed the product which now truly tastes awful. Thanks for the good memories but the future of Lipton will be without me. Good Bye

We are tea drinkers in my house my fiance is only one that drinks hot coffee. I purchase lipton tea bags from time to time for hot tea in the morning. It has great flavor and it is to powerful. I prefer tea over coffee because coffee makes me have jitters.
