I am a tea drinker and have always drank Lipton tea but since you took it out of the wrapper and put the bags in a "sleeve" the taste of brewed tea is terrible. To me it tastes like the tea is stale. Is it because the bags are now in the open and they loose the flavor. Also, I like the wrapped bags as it is more sanitary especially when you are serving the tea to guests. Don't know who thought of this packaging idea but I think it's bad. After so many years of drinking Lipton I am considering going to a different wrapped tea. As Arthur Gottfried would say "good to the last drop" , I think he'd change that now!

I love this product! It tastes amazing! I have been using this product for around a month and a half so far. If you are debating whether or not to buy this product, then this is your sign to go and buy it! If I were to recommend any product, it would be this one!

I have drank Lipton tea all my life. The new gold packs are okay. It is smart to use less paper (from the individually wrapped ones in the past). The gold plastic is a little hard to use (the little boxes don't slide in and out very easily). Overall, though, I think the gold plastic is a good thing. We drink iced tea all during the day.

Absolutely hate the new packaging. Either it changes or I am switching to Bigelow. I used to throw tea bags in my purse or in my travel bag and I can't do that now. Once the foil packet is opened, all the tea bags in it are exposed. Also, I seem to notice that the tea bags aren't as sturdy as before. When I pour hot water over them directly, they break open and spill. Never had that experience before. I have been drinking Lipton tea every day for 25+ years. So long!

Super yummy tea! Best cheaper option, I love other brands more but honestly this will do. I like it with sugar and without because it is good no matter what. I have tried it both iced and warm and it works both ways and the flavor holds well. I can sip on it all day long!

I was just trying to write limit a comment about my dissatifaction with they black tea which I have love for a very long time and the minute I tried their new tea in the more closable box which wasn''t necessary i immediately noticed its much weaker flavor and I am not happy with it. I could not send them my comment as don't have the manufacturer's code, etc. that they require to correspond with them but definitely will take the time to write all this out to them again as now very dissatisified with their black tea now.

I've been drinking Lipton tea for about 20 years, and the robust flavor has gone away. The latest move with the foil packs seems to distract from what appear to be smaller individual tea bags. For strong tea I usually steep mine for about 25 minutes, but now I can't get a robust cup without using 2 tea bags. I guess they didn't think we would notice the lower quality and/or the reduced amount of tea in each bag. Sooooo, in an effort to increase profits, they lose their loyal customers. Sad.

What is wrong with Lipton? I have been drinking Lipton Tea for over 60 years. It is the only Tea that I prefer. But, suddenly the packaging has changed to stay fresh packages. I prefer the individually wrapped tea bags. It also seems that the tea bags are smaller and the tea is not as strong. Some things need to change with the times but Lipton Tea is not one of them.

I am disappointed in the product Lipton Daring English Breakfast Black Tea. The tea, after brewing and breaking open the tea bag does show a high quality tea with a good copper color...HOWEVER...the cup is not really strong and the flavor does not come to the forefront. In reading the package and multiplying the weight...while the box is just 20 tea bags...100 tea bags would come out to 7.5 ounces and not even the 8 ounces of regular Lipton Tea Bags...therefore...Lipton is using LESS TEA, or a 28 grain tea bag, rather than the normal 35 grain tea bag. the Shortage of Tea certainly does show up in the final cup! Even steeping for 5 minutes does not bring out the full flavor of a Good...English Breakfast Tea Blend.

I make a cup of black tea with honey when someone isn't feeling well. Its stronger in my opinion and warm tea and honey is always super soothing to the throat and sets well on the stomach. It has a very good flavor and if you want to give it a little kick and really help with a couch add a dash of whiskey.
