This is our second one. We wore out the first one. Use at least 3 times/week. It survived a year. Money well spent. Cooks great, but if you don't clean out the fan it will smoke on next use, despite being "smokeless". I use a Q-tip and paper towel to work it into the tight space to wipe up all of the residue grease. Grill plate eventually warped a little, but we can still use it. Overall a 5 star rating, which is why we bought a replacement. I don't think you can go wrong with this for the price.

We have exchanged the item and still having issues. This was a christmas gift from my daughter to her dad and was a dissappointment. When youbtake out a new item you expect it to work. After we exchanged the first one we rwalized rhe first one had already been returned before. The second one was missing a screw for the lid and still not working properly do to the poor craftmanship. I just got off the phone with customer service which told me to return it to walmart because they do not have wxtra screws to send out. He was rude and not helpful. The trouble shooting in the manual sucks and isnt hepful!! Tried searching youtube even. Does your unit not turn on? And you have put it together several times??? It’s not you its the product and the poor craftmanship. Dont feel bad both of the units we had wouldnt turn on either. But after looking at it carefully we figured it out on the sexond unit. If you flip over the control panel there is a button under the power button thst is supposed to make contact with a lever to allow it to turn on. You can push it in and press power and it will turn on. Once you let honir turns off. Then you can look he lever to do this is down in the hole but isnt made right to actually touch. I will be honest. After all thr work and frustration and no assistance from the company we added a tinfoil roll up and a screw in the center to give ours contact. Once it was rigged to work. We cooked hamburgere and shrimp skewers. They came out great!! The clean up was easy. As i am searching for other items. I see rhis brand and instantly run. I wont waste my money supporting them and make them feel like building stuff poorly is okay. We have the george foreman indoor grill and it works instantly well put together. Great buy!!! It’s a little big for my kitchen but you can use it inside or out

This grill is OK but needs some improvement. Biggest problem is that it does not heat evenly. The left side is always cooler than the right side. This may be OK for some things, but not when you are cooking a full batch of something. This should be easy to fix by making the heating element a little longer. Once that is done, then we could move up on the stars.

The first time I used the grill it was great. I cooked steaks with no smoke. But I cooked steaks again the next day and it my whole house was consumed with smoke. I gave it a third try and made burgers and the smoke was even worse this time. It just circulated the smoke around inside of the lid and did suction it at all. It makes really great grill marks and steaks taste amazing with a little liquid smoke. But I'm hesitant to try it again. Maybe it will do better with less food on it... But that's not what I brought it for!

I love it. It is easy to use and set up. It is fast acting and after use, so easy to clean with the non-stick surfaces. It is so much better than an outside grill and can do the cooking on the counter top in the kitchen...or anywhere for that matter wherever an electric outlet is available. Loved it so much, I bought my adult son one as a gift.

Worked great so far, wasn't any smoke in kitchen and grilled the steaks to perfection. Granted wasn't the same as a charcoal grilled taste, but was as good as a outdoor gas grill taste. I only gave it 4 stars because it didn't come with the griddle, QVC sells it for $10 more and it comes with griddle. Also the web site to get cookbooks jumps to Canadian site that doesn't have the books.

I wanted to consolidate my kitchen toys, and bought this to replace my griddle and indoor grill. I am so glad I did! The grill is amazing, the ability to add flavoring or spices to the water is a great feature, and it is so much easier to clean the whole apparatus than either my old griddle or grill was! So glad I bought it.

I am very happen with the purchase of this item. Cooks well both griddle and grill. They are both easy to clean along with the entire unit. The only thing we have trouble with is setting the temperature. So, we cook everything on high and keep a close eye on it. However, I do not regret buying. I hate outside grills and I now have a product that works better.

After figuring out the backwards numbers in the instructions the machine was very easy to use. It worked well, but the clean up was not as easy as the TV made it sound like. It took me much longer to get things all clean. No smoke in the kitchen was great. It grilled the steaks great and it was fun to use.

The smokeless part is the best feature. While not 100% smoke-free it does eliminate I'd guess around 95% of the smoke. The 99 dollar price is good but does not come with any extra items the as seen on tv version does. All in all I would buy again. Also I bought the 2 year warranty, just in case.
