Gift for Christmas, Grilled 2 large rib eye and 2 Delmonico steaks to medium rare, 10 minutes, look and taste both Great. Clean up very easy. Minor grease spatters (depends how you hold the cover when turning meat. Fire/smoke detectors NEVER went off, no smoke...VERY HAPPY (so is the cat that hides from the noise when. I've tried to use the broiler in past). Cook time comparable to outside grill.

This grill is so easy to use and the food cooked is so delicious that I bought two of them: one for me and one for the adult kids. We cook almost everything on it. Cleaning up is a breeze. We will never use charcoal, propane or any other means of grilling again! Only bad thing is if you buy it from Sams, you will need to order the flat griddle separately online as it doesn't come with that. It's only about $20, so it's not a big deal to order. I recommend this grill to anyone who loves the taste of grilled food but hates the mess of a larger grill.

There are many plus issues for this machine and I would recommend it. I would wait until it goes on special. Only 2 negative comments, wish there were more heating elements so that the full grill space would be covered by equal heat. I assume if more heating elements were added than the heat could be increased, hopefully as high as 550 degrees. The grill only goes to 450 degrees which takes longer to cook any cut of meat over 1 inch.

I can't say enough about this grill,it is excellent in every way. So glad that Sam's club sends us ads in my email. when i saw this and read about it, i knew i had to try it and so glad i did. Perfectly grilled foods and So juicy and tender. Putting the washable pieces in the dishwasher is a breeze and they come out spotless and ready to go again. Great grill, easy to clean and great price.

I bought two grill as Christmas presents and both parties have texted me that they love their grill. Both said food had a really great taste and the cleanup was super easy since all they did was put dirty parts in dishwasher. I'm thinking of getting myself one.

We have used it for lamb chops, brats and bacon-wrapped scallops. It's easy to clean. Just rinse off and put the grill in the dishwasher. Did not give it a 5 star rating because the instructions that come with it are minimal. Suggested cook times do not include suggested temp settings. Suggested warm up times are insufficient. 10-15 min. warm up seems to work best. So far, it seems to work best set at max. temp.

I received the a couple of weeks ago after watching an infomercial on it. Sams offered it for a significant discount from the TV offer. My only issue is I thought it came with the flat plate also. Alas - that item was not offered and did not show up as an add on either. That's the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. (I would have gotten it). Else it has cooked my steaks perfectly - goodbye outdoor grill. And it's easy to clean. (And I hate cleaning)

Gives the appearance, but not the intense flavor of foods grilled outdoors (charcoal or gas). Nice char lines because of the lattice-like griddle-type surface. Not as hot as outdoors at its highest setting, but the gradient-controlled temperature settings can be a blessing when grilling delicate foods like fish, seafood and vegetables. I wish there were a visible reminder somewhere on top of the grill to not forget to pour in the water in the bottom pan before starting. Overall, I'm generally pleased with the product.

I have grilled with this grill approximately six times. I have grilled chicken, steak, burgers, and salmon. The taste was that of an outside grill. Be sure to get the grill with a lid. It keeps the meat moist as it cooks. I have not experienced any issues with smoke and clean up is relatively easy. It does take longer to grill, especially with thicker cuts, but it is worth it! It has a large grilling surface. The reason for the four stars is because I believe it should come with the griddle plate as a standard accessory.

I was so excited to get this item.. but when I finally went to use it, it will not turn on. it gets power but will not let me adjust the temperature so it does not get hot. when It got delivered I threw away the package and put it away so I can't even return it. there is a troubleshooting section of the instructions but however it does not cover if anything is actually wrong with the machine. there is also no contact number for if you are having problems with the machine. so now I am stuck with a broken machine that was not cheap.
