I bought this for use at my mom’s home. Since she has people assisting her daily, this makes getting frozen meals out easily and identified easier for them than the chest freezer. With having shelves, unlike a chest freezer, like items can be placed on the same shelf. It’s a good price and a lot of storage space for our use. We are very happy with it. I’ve already recommended this to a friend.

The freezer delivered timely, but after running for 2 days it just quit being cold. The ice turned to water and the food had to be discarded. The freezer is running, but the interior is hot and the even the motor in the back of the unit it very hot. It is defective and Thomson customer service is handled by a third party company and they are a joke! It has been over a week now and I have now sent the requested photos 3 times. I really feel they are stalling because I still have not been called after asking to speak to someone and no one has mentioned a repairman is scheduled. I thought I was getting a deal because the price was so low compared to other models, but the old adage is true...you get what you pay for! But still...$200 for nothing is a giant disappointment and rip off! Don't buy this!

At time of purchase I wanted a freezer I could keep in the garage. It turns out that it cannot be kept in my garage. Manual indicates it should be used in an area above 60 degrees and below 90 degrees. I did find a place to keep it inside my house so I am keeping it. Manual is available by going to curtisint.com and searching for TFRF690. Also other reviews mentioned additional plastic pieces which came with the freezer but did not know what they were for. The 2 parts are used to adjust the thermostat. The freezer is working just fine, I only needed it to keep frozen meats etc which did not fit in my main freezer. The price is great (compared to others which cost $500 or more.

I had been looking at this upright freezer for some time. I bought it approximately a month ago and I am glad I did. Unlike most deep freezers, just open the door and see what you are looking for, instead of having to dive head first into a standard deep freezer.. I like how it creates a vacuum seal after the door is open so you know your items are kept frozen. It did have a bit of cosmetic damage when it arrived, but I didn’t mind the small scratches and 1 ding, as this was not going to be in a place where others would see it freezer.

bought this fridge due to it’s good price and standing freezer capability. First one arrived damaged, could not even close front door. Called sams customer care # and All we got was hold. Finally they replaced it and second one arrived damaged too. We are keeping this one as replacing first one was big hassle with sams. First one was very damaged so was not usable at all, Second one is damaged too at least we are able to use it. As you see in the picture , upper part does not snug with door so have to be careful with opening and closing door. Won’t buy anything from sams online for sure.

I bought this small upright for extra freezer storage. I have a 5 cu. ft. small chest freezer also which is great, but I always have to dig down deep to find what I need. This freezer with all of its shelves makes organizing my purchases much easier. The small size fits great in small places and can be moved around easily. I am very pleased with it.

My regular refrigerator is a side by side and there is not a lot of freezer space. This is perfect for one person or a small family. Because it is upright, items are easy to locate. I can purchase family size frozen foods and don't have to purchase as often because I now have the space.
