Upright Freezer

The freezer was purchased just over two years ago. I broke today. It is very small and is NOT frost free. I am very disappointed with this unit and would not recommend this product.

VERY CHEAPLY MADE, 1 STAR IS TO MUCH

WE HAVE HAD OUR FREEZER FOR LITTLE OVER A YEAR AND IT WENT DOWN WITH A FREEZER FULL OF MEAT, WE LOST ABOUT $500.00 IN MEAT.... DON'T BUY IT IT DON'T LAST AND IF YOU DO MAKE SURE TO PURCHAST THE EXTENDED WARRENTY WITH IT BECAUSE YOU WILL NEED IT.

2 YEARS Wonders "beware"

It works perfectly after 2 years it just completely not working, wated $400 worth of meat, cheese and frozen fruits. If you only need it for short period of time and not worry abouth the cost, go right ahead.

seal leaks

seal leaks from day one, have to wipe ice off seals, need to de-ice every 2 weeks, Sam's says to bad. also it needs a wire at top of back to stabilize, is top heavy and easily fall on kids , or people if not careful

Hi new sam member - adjust your door by loosening the hinge at the top, moving the door and tightening the hinge again. The frost is caused by warm humid air entering the freezer and condensing. It is easily resolved by adjusting the door.

Failure in 2 years.

Bought this item ( 6.5 cu ft Thomson freezer) in May, 2022. Seemed to work okay until it didn't. Compressor hums and then clicks off. A few minutes later, repeat. Didn't catch it until a day or more later. Should have lasted more than 2 years.

Quit working!!

Had this less then 2 years. Has already quit working. Very disappointing we almost loss a freezer full of Deer Meat. And Sam's don't cover it. Only 90 day warranty.

Turned into a fridge

Good freezer for a while. I like that it was upright so items were easy to get to. But after about a year, it doesn't freeze anymore and is basically just a fridge. I saw somebody selling one on Marketplace with the exact same problem.

Nope

Keeps stuff frozen well, but I'm constantly defrosting it! Top will build up s2 inch thick layer of Friday that I'm removing once a week, and now it's starting to spread further and further down each shelf. Don't waste your money on this.

Very disappointed

After having this brand for almost 2 years the 3 shelves broke very easily and it puddles water on the bottom . They want $24 to replace the shelves. Avoid this brand.

Nice little freezer

I got it March 24 and loaded food into it the same day. Works great. Quiet. Perfect size. I have noticed a little whooshing noise when I close it, but it sounds like it's just sealing closed.
