Worked well when I made bread. Good & fresh yeast. Since I'm not in the bakery business, I didn't need 2 pounds! However, the price was so much better than buying it at the store, I can throw away what I haven't used after a year! If I knew anyone that baked, I could share.

In this Corona virus time I am grateful that Sam's had yeast to ship to my home. It was not available in the store but was an excellent price. Getting 2-1# bags for $4.99 makes it a real bargain compared to the price of the 3-packs of individual use for $1.50 or $6.00 for a 3 ounce jar in the grocery store.

Love this yeast, works well. Even if you think you aren''t going to bake enough to use these two whole bags up, buy them, cuz they are a great price! Then just put in a jar, store in freezer, leave a plastic measuring tablespoon in it. You can add it straight from the jar, doesn't freeze solid at all. You can keep it forever this way! The other unopened bag lasts forever, until you open it and repeat! This will allow you to try all kinds of recopes, and your own ideas to make the best bread of all--homemade.

For all the bakers out there who use yeast in their baking, this is a fantastic deal. I was able to split this pack with a fellow baker. There is a lot of yeast and I feel it is much less wasteful (packaging) and much more economical than purchasing the little three pack envelopes.

Just what I needed as I started back up and experimenting with my beads and some other baked goods recently. She'll love if I stalled out was a good amount of time too so it could have been used at a later date Reality is ... I probably already should think about getting more.

If you are into yeast baking this is tremendous value at Sam`s Club. We bake 2 loafs of bread every 2 weeks. The beast yeast waffles ever for breakfast. The first time we purchased 2 lbs. of Fleishmann`s Yeast our thinking was if it went out of date it still a great value over buying a small jar in the store that cost a couple dollars more. We use this instant yeast so much we have never got close to the expiration date.

This is a lot of yeast, but it keeps for years and is still good. Once I open a package i transfer the contents to a glass jar and refrigerate it, just because I don't use it very quickly. The last order lasted me 4 years. I'm glad I had it when Covid broke; I had tons of yeast when everybody else was trying to make sourdough starter from wild microbes in the air.

We make a lot of home made breads have found Fleischmann's Instant Dry Yeast to be an excellent yeast for bread making. It works very well in our bread maker and the dough rises very nicely providing a lovely crust with a soft delicious sponge. The 16.oz sizes that Sam's sells are perfect for our needs.

Fleischmann's Instant Dry Yeast is my go to yeast and one I frequently buy from Sams Club.......the value is incredible for 2 lbs of yeast at under $5.00 , and the quality is exceptional. I use a lot of yeast as I make all of my families bread and pastries and go through a pound of yeast in about 3 months.
