I have used this brand for years. It always produces good results and the price is excellent. When the pandemic hit and people started hoarding, yeast disappeared off the shelves, along with paper towels, toilet paper and peanut butter. I had to buy my yeast online at four times the price, and that was only one package! I was so happy to see this again at Sam’s and at a very affordable price. I won’t use any other brand.

For the price you can’t beat this! During the pandemic I learned to bake more especially bread and have continued to bake bread for my family, as well as other things and still sometime it’s hard to find yeast, I will be set for probably almost the year. And only for 5 dollars and change!

It usually ends up dying on me because I don’t use so much yeast within a few month period, but otherwise it’s amazing. I open a vacuum sealed pack when I’m about to bake something then I put the rest in a glass jar with a lid in the refrigerator. It lasts right about 3 months before slowly dying off. I’m usually able to use about a half a package. For the price though it’s worth it.

Really good yeast with a long shelf life. Heavy packaging stands up to long term storage in the freezer. It was out of stock locally for a long time. Glad that sams got it back

I bake Italian bread and pizza. This is the best and easiest yeast to use on the market. Top shelf really. Does not need to be hydrated before use, though I do that anyway.

Red star yeast finally back in stock. I bake gluten free bread weekly out of necessity. The price is great. I keep it in the freezer and even when it goes past the expiration date it still works fine.
