This is memory fiberfill topper. I replaced an old one that wasn’t as thick. The first night it made a difference in how much better my back felt when I woke up.

This is a great product! Like other reviewers, this is saving us from purchasing a new mattress at this time! My sore hips and joints are gone! Even our neck pain has improved. The downside..,,,my son wants to sleep in my bed every night now! Time to buy one for him!

First order the mattress was defective. A section in middle of mattress on egg crate side had sharp edges. It appeared foam melted then cooled resulting in sharp edges. Foam peeled apart too. Took myself and son in law to get it rolled up and back in box. Sam's arranged pickup. Replacement seems ok. Find it comfortable and cool so far.

We’ve had two other memory foam toppers and they aren’t even close to this one. I’m laying in bed as I write this review, and I haven’t been this comfortable in years! I have back and hip issues, and the past few months have been miserable. I didn’t look forward to going to bed because I knew I was as facing another long night of tossing and turning trying to find a comfortable sleep position. My husband and I put this topper on yesterday and I was praying this would be a solution. I woke up very well rested, and the sheets and blankets aren’t totally destroyed after constant rustling around all night. I’m sooo glad we chose this one! Looking forward to many more restful nights sleep ahead.

We bought a firm bed in a box 2 years ago and it was great for the 1st yr. Then it just went down from there. We could feel the middle support of the frame through the matress and it didnt matter what we did one of us always felt like we were sleeping on a slope. I have severe MS so it is hard for me to move in the bed and could never find a comfortable spot for more than a few minuets. So I am tossing and turning all night. I was worried about adding memory foam to our bed as it made it very hard to move when we tried it a few years back. But this topper is a wonderful. While the height added to the bed makes it harder to transfer from my wheelchair once I got situated I fell right to sleep and didn't move till the alarm went off. Not one single joint hurt or did my spine feel twisted out of shape as it has all week. It is very soft to the touch but adds the needed support. It is harder to get situated at first but well worth it in the end. I was able to lay on my back for several minuets, without the normal sever spine collapsing pain and able to get dressed in bed and roll over when I wanted to just as I did before the topper was added and no extra effort was needed.

The box itself didnt come in the greatest of shape. The foam padding had a tear in it upon unrollong and the mattress cover had a hole. It was also coming apart ay many of the seams. I was very disappointed especially after spending almost $200 dollars!!!

I bought a relatively expensive mattress sight unseen based on reviews (umm, it was NOT comfy plush yet supportive, lol) and it was quite uncomfortable. So much so that we couldn’t tell which was the “pillow-top” side and which was the box spring side. We bought this topper (again, based on reviews) and we are SO glad we did. It’s like sleeping on a different mattress. Plush but you don’t sink in, molds to your spine. Worth every penny.

Love it!!! Extremely comfortable and a perfect top for a firm mattress. The only reason for the 4 stars is the strong smell that can last for a few days. I should have left it on a ventilated area for at least 72 hours but instead, I put it on my bed the same day I received it.

I have only slept on this one night and know I can't keep it. 1) The foam itself is only at best 3 inches thick (on a 4" marketed topper - do better, Serta!) 2) It retains body heat and can make sleeping temperature extremely hot (unless that's what you want) 3) Mine also had that yellow chemical stripe on it - it's not urine as others have stated, I think it's from chemicals/being stored in non-temp controlled warehouses

I did not read the reviews on the Sams site, but just looked at the sheer number of reviews, and the outstanding rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars, and thought we would give it a try, plus, it was on sale for $30 less! We bought this for my boyfriends Motor home that has a fold down Murphy queen size bed, that was like sleeping on a box spring, that made my back pain (and his) even more excruciating than our home bed did. I slept on it for the first night last night with the Serta mattress topper he put on a few days ago, and it was a solid sleep, and not waking up several times throughout the night. I did not want to get up out of bed! Second of all, just very very slight, extremely mild, back pain, and not the "feel like the wind got knocked out of me when getting out of bed and trying to walk" back pain, and moaning and groaning kind of back pain trying to take baby steps down the hall. Just the slightest level of discomfort that was practically imperceptible and unnoticeable, and it was such a vast improvement, that me, like other people want to get it for our home bed that I get intense back pain on, and my boyfriend wants to buy one for his adult son that is a painter with back issues for Christmas that really was impressed with it too! I did not even know that other mattress toppers can have a funny smell, and this one DEFINITELY DID NOT have one. I am extremely sensitive to odors and scents and there is absolutely no noticeable odor at all. My doctor would look at my MRI and say that I have mild to moderate back issues, but I would tell him, it sure does not feel like "mild to moderate", but I had no idea what an extreme difference what you sleep on can make with your back issues. I'm sold on this product - it is totally OUTSTANDING! I'm going to recommend it to my older father that travels and lives on his boat and just had outpatient non-invasive back surgery to PLEASE consider purchasing this product as he has a SAMS membership too!
