Bought this to replace an older memory foam mattress topper. This one is much more comfortable possibly because of the additional 1 inch mattress cover. As mentioned it does need to lay out for several days to release the chemical smell. Would recommend it to someone who like a cushiony, soft bed.

I bought this mattress topper around 2 months ago. I used it on a firmer mattress but parents were visiting and they prefer a softer mattress. Unfortunately I didn’t receive until a week after they left. I don’t know what happened but took nearly a month to arrive. The product itself has been great.

We purchased the mattress topper for each of our boys who moved into a furnished college apartment to make a cheap mattress more comfortable. They love the toppers and we're excited when they 1st tried them out. They had their roommates test it then they wanted one too. Reasonably priced and good quality.

Our non-pillowtop mattress was just too hard, causing aching lower back and too much tossing and turning. The Serta 4" memory foam is wonderful to sleep on, you settle into it and it supports you everywhere. Less pressure points in case you are a side sleeper.

I was somewhat disappointed in the pillow top part of this topper. Very thin and doesn’t add any softness at all. If you’re looking for a softer sleep this probably isn’t the right choice. I ended up having to buy a 4” pillow top to add on top of this. It’s not a bad product but just is too firm for us.

Normally I’m a back sleeper but because of pregnancy need to sleep on my side. Each night I would wake up every half hour because my hips and back hurt. Desperate to be able to sleep and not in pain, we purchased this this mattress topper. It provides the needed cushion and does a great job cradling my pregnant body without putting too much pressure on hips and back. I’ve slept so much better! Well worth the purchase.

I was a little skeptical but that skepticism make away within 2 seconds of me resting on this mattress topper. I should have bought these a long time ago. In fact, I'm ordering them for the rest of my needs too. Turns any slightly hard or unforgiving mattress into a soft haven of restful blissful grace.

We've had this topper for several weeks now. Wife thinks it's ok. But the jury is still out for me. Lucky You, she wanted me to write the review. She enjoys that her elbow pains have subsided but are not gone. I on the other hand get lost in the foam. I sonk down onto it and the air can't circulate around me so I end up sweating all night long. I get so lost in there that it makes it hard to roll over. Once I lat down basically, that will be my position for the night! In the morning it is even worse. Takes me 3 or 4 tries to get up using a rocking motion, Just to situp to get off the mattress. Another thing is that the edges seem rounded so I always feel like I'm going to fall off the bed. So a lack of sleep trying to get cool and the extra exercise to get out of bed in the morning are pluses I guess. On a more positive note 180.00 dollars to make the wife happy seems cheap!

I was very excited to buy this mattress topper for my daughter. Her mattress was not comfortable and I didn't want to buy a new one. After I put it on the bed, I noticed strong chemical smell! (like in the other reviews) So I let it air it out in another room for about a week or so. I really didn't want to return it. The smell faded. Now my daughter says the mattress topper made a big difference. She can sleep comfortably with no aches and pains in the morning. I like that it comes with a protective cover, which helps to keep it clean and gives more comfort.

Very comfortable, but smells strongly when opened. Its been about a month, and I can still smell it, but its not overpowering like when it was new. When I first got it home and opened it, the pillowtop was the wrong size. It was a full (said it on the label with the dimensions, and the label on the pillowtop bag said queen) the topper was the correct queen size. I promptly retuned to sams to exchange only to find out they can't take it back. They did give me a refund on gift card and I bought another one, but I had to dispose of the bad one. It has helped me sleep better, even shows on my fitbit sleep score.
