All it took was opening the package and letting him smell it. His tail started wagging like crazy and pretty much jumping up and down with excitement. So we gave it to him and he immediately took it too his bed and started chewing on it. So, Purina Prime Bones will be on our shopping list, the next time we shop for treats. They have had plenty of bones in the past and this has never happened before. I don't know why but I will definitely not be buying this for them.

He didn't get bad breath after eating it. He acted as if he wanted more when he finished. Great for cleaning up those teeth via chewing. I definitely recommend for the fur doggies.

He could smell them through the package and couldn't wait for me to open them. These chew sticks are a great treat to occupy your dog. I love the fact that they contain no rawhide. They do contain venison and my dog really likes that. I also like that they contain no artificial colors or preservatives. They are a treat that I can feel good giving to my dog.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got the Prime Bones Chewstick venison size Medium in the mail my sweet Marley smelled it through the box and was beside herself wanting it. It must have had an amazing smell because she came running for it. I gave her one, they were a nice size! She usually can eat sticks similar to this one in no time but this one took her 15 minutes to finish it and she loved every minute of it. The chewstick is not hard but not soft, it is just the pefect amount of a treat as a special thing. I will be purchasing these for her! I received these as a sample to try for free.
