I think they are too hard for many dogs, especially seniors, and it would be better if they had a more toothsome, waxy crumble, like Greenies or Whimzees. I do like the fact that they come in a wild venison flavor, which sounds pretty delicious to me, and as an added bonus, they do not smell nearly as bad as bully sticks and pig ears. I myself appreciate that they are formulated with NO rawhide, no soy, wheat or corn inside! I also appreciate that they are natural with added minerals! I will be buying again!

These extra-long-lasting, natural dog chews with added calcium are rawhide-free and provide a safe and naturally edible treat that your small dog is sure to love.

My dogs go CRAZY for these! My dogs are small, around 10 pounds, and it takes them about 30 minutes to finish one. I was giving them one every other day, then I read the package and it says to give one treat twice a week. I recommend these, your dog will LOVE them!

It came well packed and is in a resealable bag. I’ve got the Wild Venison Small Dog Chews. This is natural with added calcium dog chew. I love that this is also free of rawhide. I don’t feed my dogs with rawhide as it’s poison. Bacon our Dachshund and KittyDoodle loves this treat. It didn’t last long on them as they’re both heavy chewer. But you can tell how much they loved their bones. No upset stomach for my dogs. They loved it and I’m good with it as it’s a healthier option.

Once he got these, my furniture legs, shoe laces, socks, fingers, toes etc were soooo much safer. He preferred this over any of those and happily chewed on these until exhaustion set in for biting. Love these things, well, actually my dog loves these things. I haven't tasted them personally...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First let me say my dogs love these! I have a chocolate lab and Brittany spaniel. These treats are about the size of size of my palm and about 4 inches thick. They usually suck their treats down and these they have to take their time to chew. They come in a resealable bag to keep them fresh.

I bought these based on the reviews even though they were pricey. My dog is a fairly large male sheltie. He chews on anything and everything, except these "Prime Bones". He politely will carry them to the back yard never to be touched again. He will definitely chew on plastic and even though these look like dark green plastic. He will not chew on these.
