The stick was hard as a rock and I couldn't find a way to make it softer or even break a piece off for her to try (I used a scissors and a huge knife to try to cut through it), which was extremely disappointing.

I do not give them a large variety of different foods to eat since we are monitoring them constantly. I broke this into small pieces to let them try and they did enjoy them.

This chew bone is good, but she was able to chew it down in one day. A great threat of when she's tired of chewing the same bone for days.

I think it was because it may have been to big for her mouth since she is a Chihuahua. She doesn't like chewing on anything that isn't suited to her. I think other dogs may like it though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like almost everything about this dog treats the ingredients and I even like the fact that since my dog is very small for the size of his mouth the Prime bones dogs treats is way to big for him wish is the reason my baby paw still can't finish it its been almost 3 weeks n he still have some of it that I like it very much!!! My baby paw doesn't like it as much I did . Oh Holly Prime bones !! Lol.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My GSD is a heavy chewer so this treat lasted less than 10 minutes, but much longer than a dental chew. He loved it so much, I had to buy more. I love The Limited ingredients. These are too hard to cut up if you want to split them between pets, but I got the medium so I wouldn't have to try to cut them. This is an excellent addition to my pet treats

He munches on it when he's bored, I think he's starting to really like it though. We'll definitely buy more if he shows more interest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Purina Prime Bone chew stick with Wild Venison medium as a sample. I have 3 large dogs (momma, 2 sons) so it's ladies first. Momma aka Kitty did her typical sniff before taking over to her bed. I was astonished when after a few minutes, she'd eaten the whole chew stick and was giving me that look of "OK, they send any more". Kitty is a 9 yr old Pit bull/Boxer mix with very crooked teeth and she often has trouble chewing on rawhide or hard bones but this was easy for her to chew. I'll definitely be getting her more of these.
