[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a dog with a congenital desire called megaesophogus. You may know mega e dogs from viral videos of dogs sitting in high chairs to eat. Basically her esophagus muscles dont work right. We tried multiple medications, multiple diets including expensive prescription dietsabd she would not gain weight. My friends joked and called her skellator. One last ditch effort was to try moist and meaty because of how protien and moisture rich it is. She went from barely 25 pounds to a 40 pound dog. She was able to stop most medications and we went from having multiple episodes a week to maybe one or two a month. Our family vet is so proud of her growth. When she was diagnosed at about 2 years old they said she would have a short sad life. She will be 10 this year.
