I bought a large size box to make rice krispie treats for the family. They are completely ruined. I took a bite of one and my tooth almost cracked. I thought it was just the one I bit into. I had others in my house try one and the samething happened hard rock like substance in them. I used to love these as a kid its a shame that my grandchild won't ever experience these treats as long as there is this issue.

I have been only eating Rice Krispies for the past 30 years. I find that lately some of the cereal has an unfortunate consistency. Many times the “Krispies” are small, hard and/or brown. Very seldom do I find a box with perfect pieces ... light colored and NOT hard or small. If I do find a “good” box (identified by date on top of box), I’ll usually purchase a few boxes. It’s a shame the quality has gone down :(

After not being able to find Rice Krispies for about 6 months, I was finally able to get my hands on a box. To my dismay, they were hard. Like uncooked rice in my cereal hard. Like hurt your tooth when you try to eat them hard. I’m not sure what’s changed but it’s not enjoyable to eat them. So disappointed.

I recently started buying Rice Krispies cereal and I don't know but it has a better crunch now it's so good it doesn't get soggy so fast I don't know how they changed or if everyone knows but my kids love it we've gone threw three boxes already in the last month and a half something about that Krisipieness just got better if you haven't bought any in a while I suggest you try some well at least they taste different here in Dallas

I love rice crispies!!! But what is up with the hard pieces in them lately!! I thought cracked a tooth today. This is my 4th Jumbo box that has had this problem. my kids don’t want to eat them anymore because they said they are too hard and are spitting them out.

I remember "Snap, Crackle and Pop" as a young person. We used to wait to hear the sound also after the milk was poured on the cereal. While snap, crackle and pop are still there, they don't sound as loud any more. However, this is a good cereal , with fruit, keeps one filled.

There is plenty for many bowls of snapping, crackling and popping cereal as well as plenty to make several batches of rice krispies treats. This cereal is the perfect match with butter and marshmallows and makes the most delicious Rice Krispie treats. It’s still the same as it’s always been-crispy from the start and this size inbox is a great value for the cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Package size and design is eye catching. It has already have sugar so if you are feeding kids I would not add more sugar in it. Tasted good and crunchy. Nutrition wise it’s rich and convenient for easy breakfast. My family liked it!

I just opened the box to make my family’s traditional Easter Rice Krispies treats (shaped like a bunny) and was shocked by the look of the cereal. It is a dark tan and shaped slightly different than the original. It tastes different as well. I’m so sad!! This has been a family favorite but if this is the new normal, we will take a pass. So sad.

The best thing they are not too sweet and when milk is added get mixed well and i can pair it with strawberries, blueberries and bananas. Sometimes they like to eat it as is and i can say its healthy breakfast for them.
