Childhood memories

Growing up my "favorite" dinner was when my mom made "rice krispy chicken". She crushed the cereal, dipped the chicken in egg mixture and then in the crumbs. She would bake the chicken in the oven until brown & crispy. This brings back wonderful birthday memories since that was always my request.

Rice Krispies Treats

I bought a box of Rice Krispies to make the Rice Krispie Treats for my daughter, as a inspiration to work a little harder last month on remote learning for school. She can’t wait till she goes back into her school building. They were a big hit and of course I had a few myself, it bought back so many childhood memories. My daughter will be going into 8th grade this Fall. Wish all the students Good luck and hope the schools open in September.

Hard pieces, possibly undercooked? (Mega Size box)

Kellogg's is and has been my favorite brand for cereal since childhood. Rice Krispies, though harder to find since the pandemic, are a regular purchase for me and my family. Lately new, opened boxes have been inundated with hard, barely edible Rice Krispies that do not soften even after soaking in milk! It's puzzling and disappointing; they've made a normally pleasurable dive into a big bowl of nutritious comfort food feel...risky. After observing the remnants of a recent bowl--first sign of a problem, I never leave any cereal from a bowl of Rice Krispies uneaten--I noticed a lot of cereal pieces had sunken to the bottom. I've never known even soggy Rice Krispies to just sink to the bottom of the bowl so heavily. To me, those sunken bits most closely resembled uncooked parboiled rice right after I've added water to the pot before cooking. And frankly, the hard bits texture is very similar to undercooked rice, in my opinion. I don't know the exact cause of this, but at this time I'm not confident enough to purchase additional boxes of Rice Krispies until the issue is fully addressed. Thanks for listening.

Still wilts in milk, but now with hard bits.

Was disappointed years ago when the recipe changed. Still make treats but rarely east the cerise alone. A couple of bowl from my wife’s treat leftovers had lots of hard but. Noticed them in the bars as well, but blamed the process, nor the raw materials. Afraibof broken teeth.

Rice Krispies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rice Krispies is a cereal that I can never eat plain. I always jazz mine up with a little bit of sugar and a banana. Also, I decided to try making Rice Krispie treats with this cereal. They came out pretty good!

Love Rice Crispy Bars

So funny to receive this email at this moment, as I just finished making a pan of Rice Crispy Bars at my grandsons request! I’m typing this with sticky fingers as none of us can resist this delicious treat. We don’t even bother to cut them. We just grab them by the handful! Yum!!

We made wicked themed treats!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rice Krispies have always been a classic in our house, but this time, they weren’t just for breakfast or crispy treats—they became part of a Wickedly fun experience! While crafting hats inspired by Wicked, we snacked on these light, crunchy puffs, and they were the perfect companion. The signature “snap, crackle, pop” sound adds a bit of magic, much like the world of Oz itself. Whether eaten plain with milk or transformed into gooey, marshmallowy treats, Rice Krispies never disappoint. They’re simple yet satisfying, with just the right balance of crispiness and nostalgia. If you’re looking for a versatile cereal that can fuel both creativity and cravings, Rice Krispies are a must-have. Now, if only they could help us defy gravity!

Rice Cereal is So Delicious

Of course the Snap, Crackle, and Pop sounds are always what I look forward to when making me some Rice Krispies. Rice cereal is delicious and I love how it softens after it's been soaked in milk. We'll also put some banana slices in our Krispies for further effect and as a sugar substitute. The chocolate Rice Krispies Treats are one of our favorite snacks. I love how there's a lot of cereal in each box.

My you’ve changed

For several months now, RC have come in different forms from the original, including a box that listed “Made in the UK”. The Crispys don’t look like the original, don’t taste like the original, are a different texture than the original, don’t SCP like the original and are like eating bb’s. But at least you raised the price and lightened the weight per box to make up for not being original.
