[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rice Kristie’s has been a classic cereal in my home since childhood. The crunchy texture of the cereal, hearing the pop and crackle when you pour milk in to the bowl makes the whole eating experience a sweet memory. The flavor is slightly sweet and just perfect. The best part is you can also make homemade Rice Krispies treats with this cereal.

Rice Krispies were always a staple in my home, but the last 3 boxes I’ve bought have all contained quite a lot of hard pieces. Even after letting the cereal sit in milk for a couple minutes. Towards the bottom of the bowl it feels like I’m chewing rocks. My friends have also mentioned this, something changed and it’s not good.

I thought I had a bad batch but now I see other people are having issues with “hard bits” I almost broke a tooth a moment ago! Felt like I bit down on a rock. I snapped a pic of the last piece that hurt my tooth. It looks like plastic! I won’t buy them anymore because they are not enjoyable to eat when I’m hesitant to chew because of the unpleasant feeling of biting into ‘Hard bits’ which is in pretty much every bite! Disappointing. What happened with this cereal. How can they expect people to eat small pebbles for breakfast!

Our family has been purchasing Kellogg’s Rice Krispies for years. We love eating it straight for breakfast or we add fruit for variety. In the evenings, we love making Rice Krispy treats for dessert. What a perfect and flexible food! Thank you Kellogg’s for a cereal that has left us with wonderful memories ... even the Snap, Krackle, POP commercials bring back sweet memories!

I have eaten this cereal all my life. It's got to be one of the best. But of late, it's getting hard to chew without biting hard kernels with every spoonful. It used to be an occasional spoonful had a hard kernel or two, but now it is literally every spoonful. It's as bad as the cheaper grocery store chain brand of rice krispies where you expect to find hard kernels because your paying a cheaper price. But to find this sort of unpalatable food product in a top of the line, brand name, higher priced product......for shame Kellogg's, for shame. Please give us back the rice krispies we all know and love so I don't break my teeth and have to go to the dentist.

I donate to family support group in Oak Cliff. The Family-size boxes are great for large families, and I am hoping to order free books when I learn how. I chose Family Size Rice Krispies because of the taste, use in bars and a classic! Love them myself!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gosh, these taste exactly the same as they did when I was a kid! You still get the snap, crackle, pop sounds when you pour milk over a bowl of Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Cereal. The only reason that they get 4/5 stars is that they still haven’t figured a way to keep the cereal from getting soggy so quickly. I do love the mild flavor of Rice Krispies as I’m not a fan of sugary cereals. I also made Rice Krispies treats with my kids using the box I received for my review and they were fabulous, just as I remembered as a kid. My kids loved putting sprinkles on top and I may have eaten an extra square when no one was looking!

My family has eaten Rice Krispies for years. Like many others, we have noticed a change; lots of tiny, very hard bits throughout. We’ve tried to be careful, and assumed it was a short term issue, but just this week my Mom actually cracked a tooth on one. Done with Rice Krispies until they fix this issue.

I recently had Rice Krispies (I don't usually eat cereal) using an older box that was sealed over a new one the wife had just bought. I enjoyed them for a few days and decided to open the new box! These are like chalk and cheese difference taste texture and what seems like a different look as well. 100% sure they have changed several things or 1 thing that has created several changes. They are like eating small pieces of cardboard in texture even after soaking in milk a while they hold up structure as previously they would go soft and gooey... I should have done an ingredient check box to box but the box wash thrown away before I realised. I have thrown the rest away as I didn't enjoy them at all. It will be money driven i'm sure as there is no health benefits in a cereal breakfast other than what they tell you (which is nonsense) so I shall go back to my protein breakfasts.. Why mess with something that isn't broken?
