Just got done eating my breakfast sandwich, a plain Spam Single Classic slice, fried crispy, with a slice of American cheese, melted on 2 slices of white bread.....it doesn't get any better than that, Thank You, Hormel, for keeping an American Classic alive! We ALL enjoy it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A staple food growing up. Always good for a quick sandwich or part of a casserole dish. Many times in my youth we would eat Spam and eggs. My favorite is pan fried to a crisp and add cheese and mustard on a bun or bread.

Spam Classic, fried egg, & cheese on toasted white bread. This is my favorite sandwich. Maybe even a splash of hot sauce on there. I spent 2 years in Guam, a long time ago. There is a lot of Spam served there. That's where I began to love Spam Classic.

Was introduced to SPAM in the late 50's (maybe earlier but I was young) Mom would use it for breakfast, and sometimes supper as well. She made a great tetrazini using Spam instead of ham. ( Didn't have a lot of money back then ) Over the years I made some of moms recipies using spam and nowdays it is a breakfast staple on weekends. I can afford to buy the meats I want but the flavor and memories of the past keep me coming back. Quick tip. A Spam single and 2 eggs. Instant breakfast. I have tried all the different flavors but Spam original is still #1!

I've been eating Spam since I was a kid. My mom made it several different ways because we didn't have much money.Now I eat Spam because I love it .I give my husband and kids Spam,not because we don't have money but because we love it. Spam is the way to go ! It's tasty and can be cooked quite a few different ways!

My son has suffered from severe food allergies since the age of one. Even having a feeding tube for three years. Then we entered spam classic. He started gaining weight and lost the tube. Now at 13, his favorites are still the spam singles. He loves them fried in a pan and on pizza. Thank you for keeping it CLASSIC! ❤️❤️❤️

Spam* a good choice for so many reasons in your life.

Get this a lot from DG, it's a buck a slice.... It's convenient But too expensive to get just a slice of spam... give us at least the bacon or etc with that price! Normally eat it on it's own or on a couple slices with cheese... wish the singles came in the different varieties rather than the classic. Then people like me can try the others and SPAM and Hormel can see new markets for different tastes!

Great on hikes when the sodium and fat content are a virtue. Okay right out of the package, downright delicious fried. Packaging is a bit bulky to carry back off-trail for proper disposal, but that is a small matter. Wish it was easier to find the "singles" locally.

NOTHING can take the place of 'The Original' Spam! It's nice, once in a while, to try a variety flavor, but I always come back to plain old Spam. It's even good right out of the can. It's a staple in my pantry and can jump into service at a moment's notice.
