I've been using Metamucil for a year now and it's really helped me with IBS-D. I like how Metamucil really helps bulk up the waste and movements are not sticky or messy. I wish they'd made a nonflavored version that is made with phsyllium husk, but sadly they don't. I chose the sugar-free version since the regular version sadly has a lot of sugar in it for taste. I tried Benefiber for a couple weeks and it did not do the same as Metamcuil for me. Metamucil works great with even one serving a day and makes movements not messy.
