We also have many quality checks in place to ensure that you can use Dawn with ease, and we wouldn't expect the product to impart a scent/taste onto your dishes. However, if the soap isn't completely rinsed off, or if the dishes have become porous, it's possible. If certain items always pick up a flavor, they're likely worn to the point of being porous and should be rinsed off immediately and not soaked. We hope this is helpful, and your comments will be shared with our team. We do recommend that you discontinue use of this particular product, if you haven't already. For our lightest scent, we suggest checking out our Dawn Free & Clear. We also have our Dawn Free & Clear Fragrance-Free available.
