After consulting with my Primary Care Physician, and being referred to a Specialist who recommended a colonoscopy to rule out a possible serious problem, the verdict was in. IBS, a condition that has caused so many different symptoms, from discomfort to mucous like blood streaked stools. The recommendation was to try a "sample" of ALIGN. Seven (7) white capsules, one per day. "Call the office, let me know if these help." Skeptical as I was, the next morning, I took #1, second morning, #2, near the end of the day I realized I'd not had one incident all day, no discomfort, no bowel issues. By the morning of the 3rd day, I was fine. I finished the sample box, purchased a box of Align to continue taking. I couldn't imagine not taking them ever again. A month later, I decided that like so many products a less expensive one may be just a good. I purchased, the next lowest priced probiotic, not so good, then I purchased a store brand.
