We have a 17 year old dishwasher that just wasn't getting the job done anymore. We live in an area with very hard water and the dishes would come out spotted even when it was brand new. We tried all kinds of rinsing agents, etc. Not much improvement. Lately, they were coming out caked with a soap film that hadn't rinsed off. I'd try to scrub the film off and it just got worse. It got to the point that we just hand washed everything and used the dishwasher as a drying rack. Then I saw this product. We gave it a go just to see what would happen. EUREKA!! It worked! Not only did our dishes come out clean with no soapy film but we also discovered we didn't' have to pre-wash all the dishes before putting them in the washer! Even stuck on food came off! Our final test was pots and pans, something we could never put in this dishwasher. They all come out squeaky clean, no spots and even shine! I don't think I've had shiny dishes ever in this house! I am so happy to be able to use our dishwasher again - with 3 kids and a husband dishes are a constant in our house. I highly recommend this product. The cost is worth it! We thought we were going to have to get a new dishwasher. I'm happy to just buy these packs. Thanks Cascade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing product, every thing shines like new. Made old copper bottom pots and pans look new again. I have never used any dish detergent that works this well. Once you try it you'll never use anything else.

I've been using this product for awhile now and recently ran out. I went to a store that didn't carry your product and had to buy a different brand. I was so disappointed and will never buy anything besides Cascade again. My dishes are always clean and shiny.

We bought the little packets and they smelled too strong, so next time we bought the liquid, it smells way to strong as well. I put in as little as I can so it doesn't stink up the house, but my wife puts in more of the stuff. Do you sell an unperfumed dishwasher detergent? If not we will have to switch brands. The product works cleans the dishes but drives me crazy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Cascade for many years. I used the powder before the new ActionPacs were available. These ActionPacs are very convenient. No muss - no fuss. Just drop a pac into the dishwasher and let it do all the work. I've experimented by not rinsing my dishes prior to putting them in the dishwasher. I only run the dishwasher every couple days. My dishes always come out sparkling clean.

Have heard from friends in Michigan and California and my experience (I live in Texas) about how absolutely awful, dreadful the new formula of Cascade is. All agree it leaves greasy coating on inside of dishwasher and dishes come out looking greasy and look unclean. Michigan says they can still get the old formula but have to read ingredients. I've heard that you didn't have to change the formula but decided to get ahead of the environmentalists. BAD Mistake. Most of us are not loony-tunes and we want a product to work before changing or at least give us the option of which one to use. I've just got a new environmental washing machine ($800+) that won't clean anything and takes 2x as long to wash but uses 4 inches of water. Add toilets that don't flush and I am MAD about all this "new, wonderful, environmental" stuff that doesn't work but is being forced on me!!!! A long-timer satisfied user of Cascade, We will move to a product from Mexico, India or China (easily available here in Texas) if you dead-heads keep this up. I am reviewing only the new Cascade here.

We purchased Cascade complete - Phosphate free. AFter 4 diswasher loads, we have concluded that this produce is a complete waste of money and time. It does NOT clean very well often leaving tiny food particles stuck on glasses and plates. WE will NOT use this product again, and have told our neighbors to stay away from it. One neighbor had used the product and agreed and said they will never buy it again. It does NOT help the enviornment if we have to run a single load 2 or 3 times to actually get it clean.

My dishes are perfectly clean and as far as I know dishes are not capable of scrubbing each other. Sometimes I think I want to sit in my dishwasher and watch the fairies... LOL You guys are awesome ))

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried other dishwasher products and didn't like the way the dishes were even using a rinse agent. Since I have been using cascade complete I have noticed that my dishes look so much better and my glass ware has no spots. I will contnuie to use this product.

Only dishwasher stuff I use, as it is the only one that thoroughly cleans my dishes and leaves my glasses shiny like new. If I finish a meal and place dirty dishes (scrap scrapes into trash first), and throw one of these pacs in, they come out looking new and don't have an issue with residue or stuck on food. Will not use any other type of dishwasher detergent/pacs as I love the cascade platinum.
