For years I have used the Cascade powder and found it to be the greatest on the market but recently I purchased a package of the Cascade complete in the little packs. At first everything was OK then one day when I emptied the dishwasher I noticed my dishes weren't as clean as they used to get and there was a film all over my dishes and silverware. At first I thought it was lime and purchased something to take lime off but that didn't work. Now all my dishes are covered with this flim and my sliverware always looks dirty to the point I'm embarrassed to put it out. I don't know what to do to get it off and will probably have to purchase new dishes and silverware which is very difficult for me since I live on a limited budget. I would not recommend the packets nor will I be purchasing them again. I used the pacets for less than 5 times.

The glasses and glass dishes are free of water spots and shine like new. The only negative and I don't blame that on the dish soap, is the lack of drying of the plastic ware.

When we first bought Cascade with Dawn Extra Action liquid/gel, we were very happy with it. However, the last few large containers were so runny that it looked like it was totally watered down. These bottles have NOT cleaned the dishes and left terrible spots on glassware and silverware. We are not at all happy and will not purchase it again.

I'm sure the Gain scented ones take the smell to a whole new level! No need to rinse dishes before putting them in the dishwasher! Love these products!

As the population is getting older, and I'm one of those, we need more products to de-stress our lives. I love the action pacs because they are so easy to pop them into the diswasher - no mess or heavy lifting. What prompted me to try these was the fact that I had trouble opening the container. My dishes always come out sparkling - no need ever to rewash anything. Whoever thought of this came up with a great thing. Thankyou so much!!

The Action "Pacs" are worse than worthless, because the white crud they leave requires extra cleaning by hand after using them on a load of dishes. I have to rescrub about a third of the silverware and run it again. A simple rinsing of the white film it leaves on the glasses isn't enough; they need to be scrubbed. We were so much better off with store brand dishwashing liquid, which is also phosphate-free, so let's not blame any government regulations for this product's failure to do its job.

I have been a fan of cascade action pacs since they have been on the market. My dishwasher is run one to two times a day and I have depended on this product have been happy with it until recently. I noticed the new scents and decided to try them out. I purchase the lavender scent a few weeks ago. I enjoyed the nice aroma it produced in my kitchen when the dishwasher was running, but I started to notice the food I cooked in my pots and pans having a funny taste of lavender. I finished using the pack because unfortunately I am not in a financial position to trash it and buy the regular brand. Unfortunately, my husband did the shopping this week and brought home the Thai scent and I am having the same issue. I do not have my receipts so I can not submit them for a refund from Cascade, but I want other mothers to know not to make the same mistake. I will purchase the original action pacs again, but the scented pacs are the pits.
