Cascade Shine Shield formula will react with cast aluminum. Please be careful what you put in the washer with it. If it has a cast aluminum base metal you are likely to see a color change on that metal. I have an older baking bunt cake mold of cast aluminum, it was ruined by this product. This product drives the pH of the water above 10 which is very corrosive to aluminum. I am really surprised a waring label was not fixed to the packaging. By the way, this product is not friendly to septic systems as well. Sorry to be so negative about this product and I know its hard to find cleaning agent that are phosphate free, but you can clean a boiler with this stuff!

I would still get water spots on them and the booster started to take off the finish. Cascade does the job. It leaves my dishes clean without harming them. And no water spots!

I've tried a hundred dishwashing soaps inexpensive and the expensive ones. Liquid, powder and then finally tried the Cascade Pods. Oh my gosh. Nothing will ever work better. I was ready to go get a new dishwasher until you use these wonderful Pods to clean dishes. The glasses are like brand new. So so clean, smells pretty while the dishwasher is running AND no spots. Nothing will work better. I will never buy anything else. thanks Cascade :)

There is a very simple reason for this. Cascade does the BEST job! My dishes always come out clean with no residue

For years now I have been using Liquid Dish washing detergents... The primary reason was that I found that powdered detergents tended up clog up the pipes in the house... After several occurances where I had use plummers ACID to clean out the drain pipes I found out that it was the powdered detergent I was using in the Dishwasher that was causing the problem... I switched to a liquid... THAT was back in the 1970's.. Been using it ever since. Cascade has always been the liquid of choice. It was easy to use and did a really great job of cleaning the dishes even if I was in a hurry and didn't have time to Pre-Wash. Lately I have noticed that the product has gone through a Formula Change... It went from a Nice THICK gritty Gel to a Liquid formula that I would liken to WATER... It is THIN and lacks substance... pours out of the bottle in such a fashon that if your not careful you will empty the whole bottle before you know it. The old formula used to sit in the little cups on the door of my dishwasher even as you closed the door and would SLOWLY flow out as the dishwasher filled up with water. NOW it seems to DUMP out of the Holder and while the dishwasher is running to get the water up to temperature I feel that all my soap is running down the drain. I realize that TIMES are Changing... But if your going to Change your Formula at least you could do is keep it of a consistancy that it will not LOOK (and act) LIKE WATER when I pour it from the Bottle... I have looked at your other formula's and they all seem to have this one trait... TOO Watery to work well without going down the drain. When I run out I'll be looking for another BRAND... Even The STORE brand has more consistancy.!

I was raised the old fashioned way...that is to do dishes by hand; however, since a dishwasher was brought into our home Cascade has been the only source for clean dishes, pots, pans, silverware and-the-like. No need to rewash, no need to rub of water spots and no need to dry. Never doubt a fine product, take my word for it;-)

As a retired military servicemember, I have lived in numerous parts the the United States. I have used various brands of dishwashers and dishwasher detergeants and had always been disappointed in the result of the wash. I was never sure if it was the brand of dishwasher or of the detergeant. There was always spots, even when using agent which were designed to prevent spotting. Since using Cascade 2in1 ActionPacs with the Power of Dawn, I have stoppped worrying about spots on my dishes and whether they are clean or not. I no longer have to check each item, re-wash, wet and dry to remove spotting, or scrape food that didn't come off. I am confident enough that I simply remove the dished from the dishwasher and put them away with confidence that they are clean. As a single parent, even one less worry to deal with at home is a big relief.

I just squirt the cascade Complete on the door of the dishwasher and let her go. When I open the door the next morning I have a treasure chest of new looking everything. "What a joy!!!!!!!! Thank you. I always hated to empty the dishwasher and now it is a joy.

For a year I was passing coupons for this product to a friend as I was happy with the product I was using at the time.But two tabs later, I was hooked.DO not like highly scented products, and the tab is one size fits all situation.But I cannot fault it on cleaning and I do not prerinse..just remove food bit.
