[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the idea of this product. I like the convenience. And when it works, it's good. However, I have had some 'misfire.' What I mean is that they don't always open up in the wash. When that happens, it's a mess. The dishes don't get clean and the detergent pack is a clumpy mess. I don't think it's just my machine either. I've had it happen in two different ones. Like I said, it's a good idea. It just needs a little work.

I found Cascade complete all in 1 action pacs to be really easy to use. I hate when the bottles are almost empty and the dishwasher liquid splurts out, getting all over the dishwasher and sometimes me. No problem here, last is as easy to use as first.

I use the Cascade Complete powder and have for years. Now, there is a new formula - how do I get this nasty film off my dishes? I understand there was a change in regulation but surely there is something that can be done to the formula to keep the nasty while film off my dishes. Otherwise, why would I continue to buy this product?

ever since you have taken out the phosphate my dishes have had a white film on them. My duaghter also has had the film on her dishes; she called her repair person and that is when we were told that it is because there is no phosphate in the detergent . Please bring back the phosphate or we will resort to going back to just washing dishes by hand. We are already rewashing to remove the film so what is the sence of using a dishwasher? Please we have used Cascade forever and don't really want to stop. We realize it is not just you that has removed the phosphate it is all brands and products of all cleaning detergents. Pkease return to using phosphate; you are suppose to be making our life easier not harder. Thank you, Lydia

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These little pacs can be super awesome! They get my dishes EXTREMELY clean and leave the dishwasher smelling clean as well. I love how easy they are to use! My complaint and the reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that they don't always dissolve properly. For some reason every 6th or 7th pac I use doesn't break open or dissolve properly and I am left with a mushy congealed half a pack laying at the bottom of my dishwasher and a film on my dishes. My dishwasher was purchased brand new only 2 months ago so I don't believe the problem is with my dishwasher.

Where I live we have well water with a lot of rust in the water. Cascade action packs are the only clearner I have found that clean my dishes, keep them from turning orange due to the rust, and not creating a white film on the glasses. Only dishwasher cleaner I will buy. Thankyou Cascade

I used to use Finish but I noticed the powder tabs sometimes left a white residue on items in the dishwasher. After testing water temp and other things suggested by the manufacturer of the dishwasher it was determined it was the dishwashing tabs so I switched to Casade..and how neat I thought, I found the action pacs with no perfume!! Well, all my pans now have oxidized on the outside to a dull metal. These are pans that I have had for many years and never did this with Finish or the normal Casade that I used years ago. I am extremely angry as you can imagine, as this basically ruined all my pans. I have at least 10 cookie sheets and pizza pans that are now trash in addition to the exterior on my regular saucepans. So this is a warning to watch any aluminum pans if you are using Cascade Action Tabs Pure Essentials Perfume free, for damage to your pans. And no, there is nothing that will restore the pans.

I had trouble with my dishes being clean, silverware especially, and spotting. I thought my dishwasher was going out. My "troubleshoot" section on my dishwasher said to be sure the detergent I used had phosphate. I'd used Cascade for years, but when I looked on the package I discovered it was phosphate free. Doesn't work for me.

My dishwasher was also stained on the tub From red sauces the first pack I put in ran a full Load my dishes and the tub were back to normal No redness or cloudy only use this product Also I only have to use this no more rinse aide :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works great. It works so well you can tell the difference after the 1st time you use it. No spots, stuck on food, gone. We thought there was something wrong with our dishwasher until we used Cascade Platinum.
