It zaps dried on egg and even baked on cheese and tomato! I have an older machine, about 6 years old, without the fancy scrub cycles, etc. Our water is very hard. Before I had to not only fill the main detergent cup, and the open one, but also add detergent for the wash in-between those two, otherwise I had that unpleasant odor on my dishes and glasses. With Cascade Complete, that is all behind me. I still fill the open cup with powder, because of the hardness and iron in our water....but even just using Cascade Complete alone, it does a great job!

After running my dishwasher, the action pack was still sitting in the detergent dispenser, I thought maybe my dishwasher was at fault, so I closed the door and ran the cycle again. When it was complete, I opened the door and the action pack fell out of the detergent dispenser, I took out the action pack (which looked like it had been chewed on) re-read the directions, and replaced it with a new one, thinking that maybe it was defective. I ran yet another cycle with the same results. That is THREE dishwasher, "pots and pans" cycles that haven't had any detergent in it. Just water being sprayed around. What's going on?? I'm a huge fan of the liquid Cascade complete. At least I know there has been soap on my dishes. Can't say as much for the action pack.

love this product, i usually run the dishwasher every three days. with the cascade complete gel packs, i can leave the dirty dishes without worry. They always come clean. even after setting dirty for days, it's great. Love this product and recomend it often. I will only use this for my dishes.

I was ready to use my dishwasher for a drain rack until I got a package of Cascade ActionPacs and its a Bosch! I hated the thing! It left food, even if I rinsed, almost washed them. There were spots and the dishes were dull. I was just tired. Just one time was all it took, and BAM, beautiful, clean, shiny dishes, pots and pans, casseroles, and flatware. I almost cried. I am a happy home maker again. Thanks!!!

I have a brand new dishwasher!!!!! Actually, it is an 11 year old, contractor grade washer but with Cascade Complete, my dishes are squeaky clean. Almost, annoyingly squeaky clean. Thanks for making these available in a trial size, I encourage everyone who thinks they have a poor dishwasher to try these before they consider upgrading!

I don't consider it to be a bargain when I have to rewash 15 - 20% of my dishes.

Decided to try Cascade Platinum and we are no longer looking for a new dishwasher! This stuff is amazing. The dishes, glassware, and pots and pans are coming out super clean.

Cascade Pacs with Gain cleaned my dishes but ruined them and my dishwasher with the strong fragrance. I have switched to an unscented product, but many cycles later the stench of Gain remains. Any tips on how to remove that odor? For years I used Cascade powder with fine results, but after this fiasco with the Gain Pacs, I am afraid to use any Cascade product. Why doesn't P&G make an unscented dishwasher detergent? Believe me, it would be popular!

This is good stuff! I thoroughly enjoyed using it because of the successful clensing that I recieved from the use. I am using cleaner, clearer and more vibriant dishes that only enhance my eating experience. Thank you so much for this product and the avalibility of purchase and use. I will only say this once and forever leave it alone, this product is for everyone with a dishwasher. It is an established product and nothing else need be said.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always had to prewash my dishes until I found Cascade Platinum. The most I have to do is scrape some larger pieces of food off of the plates, I don't even really have to do that because, fortunately, my dishwasher has a small garbage disposable built into it. I would prefer to not take chances, ​though. I was nervous placing the dishes into the dishwasher without scrubbing them first. Boy am I glad! What an outcome! I didn't even have water spots, and that is usually a given here. Thank you for so much for making such an awesome product that does what it claims to do. It seems rare that something works like it's supposed to, but I couldn't be happier!
