We have been using Cascade for decades, so several months ago when our dishwasher started leaving the dishes with stuck on food, undissolved detergent and hazy streaks we thought we were going to have to buy a new machine! We tried everything, thinking the spray jets were clogged we tried several strong chemicals to clean the dishwasher. Nothing worked. We began just hand washing everything. Yesterday I read about the removal of trisodium phosphate from the Cascade formula. I immediately retrieved my TSP, used to clean before painting, and added a tablespoon to the measure of Cascade I dumped into the dishwasher. For the first time in months my glassware came out sparkling! This formulation change is ill-advised and should have been addressed on the lack of data showing actual problems in the environment. TSP could cause a problem, but there is no valid data that, when properly analyzed, shows that dish detergent is a likely pollution source.

i've used Cascade All-in-1 pacs for almost a year now and would not use anything else. Normally I would look for something on sale, have a coupon to use or buy the least expensive brand, but not after using these pacs. I have an active family of five and with everyone having different schedules, I have a ton of dishes. I like to run my dishwasher once a day and you'd think that it would cause problems to let dishes sit in the machine for so long. I have yet to have to rewash anything after using the all in one pacs. Thanks Cascade for making my life so much easier!

A friend recommended the ActionPacs after she moved to a new home and was not happy with how her dishwasher cleaned. She said they saved her from buying a new dishwasher. My problem is that we have very hard water and that my glasses always looked dingy and spotty. No longer! The ActionPacs are so easy and even take up less space under the sink to store. I love clean, shiny dishes and have recommended the ActionPacs to many friends.

I was leery of using the pouches as my dishwasher had the 2 detergent cups. I have been using the regular Cascade for many years but thought that I would like to try the pouches. I was pleasantly surprised at the fantastic results!! They even worked better than the regular Cascade. My dishes seem so much better. I have not used any dishwasher detergent than Cascade for as long as I remember. I had to pick one to submit the review.

I have used Cascade for the last 40 years, ever since there has been a dishwasher in the household. It worked well until you removed the phophates. Dishes now are dull looking and graduately become gritty feeling as though they are not really clean. The only thing that would make the dishes, glassware, and silverware slick and shiny again was to run the diswasher with 1/2 gallon of white vinegar. The vinegar wash would only last a couple of weeks before the dishes started to look bad again. I now use another product in a tablet form that works much better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't waste your time with a lower level of cascade cleaner. I have found that anything less than platinum won't clean my dirtiest dishes. If you want something that takes care of everything, use platinum.

I just had to write, I bought a different brand name of diswasher detergent, it was cheaper not only for price but also for results, my dishes were still dirty and greasy after the full cycle. I will never use any other except Cascade diswasher detergent again. I wasted more time and water by rewashing the dishes by hand and not saving anything in the long run and adding to the chore, you have an AWESOME product thank you .

Today, I was in a hurry and didn't have time to wash my pots and pans by hand. I never put them in the dishwasher for fear that they wouldn't come clean. But today I did. I was amazed at how clean they came out. I no longer will be afraid to wash them in the diswasher again.

I'm a huge fan of Cascade products and weill definitely keep buying and using them. But after trying out the action pacs I will be back to purchasing the liquid detergent. The action pacs I bought worked great for about a week but then they all started sticking together and the pacs would leak or tear when I was trying to get them out of the box. After I ran the dishwasher for the fifth time without the action pac disinegrating and my dishes still dirty i gave up and headed back to the store for my trusted liquid detergent.

I bought the Cascade ActionPacs (citrus scent) and was disappointed in them. I apparently got a bag that had "weak" gel pacs. After about 6 washes, there were some pouches that opened inside the bag. Now with only 5 pouches left, I am finding that 2 of them are full... the rest have missing "cleaners" which are collecting on the bottom of the bag. YUCK!! Also, there was no "citrus" smell at all when the dishes were being cleaned and/or rinsed.
