[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishes and pans from my holiday dinner had baked food on them. Once the holiday excitement was over I loaded the dishwasher and thought I'd give the "Cascade Platinum" a chance to do it's job. Well,be prepared to be amazed,the dishes sparkled and were very clean.

I use metal-lined insulated travel coffee mugs that all developed a brown patina on the inside metal surface over time. I tried everything I could think of to remove it: hot water with coffee pot cleaner, multiple household cleaners and solvents, standard dishwashing products...nothing helped, even a little. I was reduced to using a scrub brush, still with limited success- that coating was tough. I happened across your product, just for routine dishwasher use, never thinking it would solve my problem. Imagine my surprise when a mug that was run through a standard cycle once was absolutely free of the coating. Great product.

We've used Cascade for years with good results. Now the new Cascade is different, it leaves silverware with a nasty thick film on it that won't come off unless we soak it in vinegar and scrub it. It also leaves a film on anything glass or silver in color. Our plastic utensils look like they have been sandblastic with white chalk. They were black, they are now grey, and the vinegar does not fix them.

We have used Cascade for years and years. Within the last couple of years we started having recurring drain clogs. After a few occurances we started blaming the problem on poor plumbing configurations. Well, this past week I decided to redo our dishwasher and sink drains. Fortunately, I started downstream and intended to work backwarks... upstream. I removed the trap associated with the blocked drain and found it totally cloged with white undisolved dishwashing detergent. You state that your product is formulated to work in and temp and any water hardness. My wife and I have decided to suspend using your products. We have spent a fortune on having drains unclogged and don't ever want to waste our hard earned money again! Work this out guys!!!

I would recommend this to anyone who asks me. it seems to leave the dish washer sparkling clean inside after the cycle has completed. again, I would tell all my friends to use this product

used the old formula for years - no problem - used the new formula and ALL of my aluminum is badly discolored - checked the box - way down at the bottom of the back of the box it says "don't use with aluminum" THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT SHOULD BE IN LARGE TYPE ON THE FRONT OF THE BOX

Cascade Platinum leaves my dishes spotless, and my glasses sparkling. I have never used another product that even comes close to the incredible results of Cascade Platinum. I'll never switch to another dishwashing product. Please don't change this formula as it works great!!

I was at a work meeting about going the extra mile. We were talking about products we would buy no matter what when a nurse stood up and talked about how amazing Cascade Platinum was. Well I went and bought it right away. We have been thru dishwashers and most of the time I hand wash after running it. Our water is terrible. But our dishes are sparkling. The glasses are clear and clean. No more soaking them in vinegar and scrubbing away the hard water stains. I will not settle for a lesser product. I am so sold on this product and very grateful.

Okay guys, I get it...linking a product to "New Zealand" sounds exotic, clean, green and fresh to most people. But for those of us from there - who actually know what New Zealand smells like - it's a bit of a stretch to say that the fragrance of these delightful little pellets smells anything like a New Zealand spring. Okay, it does say "inspired by" but maybe you should get someone with a better sence of smell to come up with a location specific fragrance. It works great - but it smells horrible. Sorry.

I have tried many dish washing products and this has to be the worst product ever. I am one of those that even pre-washes and pre-rinses all my dishes and silverware. I bought the 90 Action Pacs tub and have now done 5 loads of dishes. All 5 loads have had to be rewashed with another product. Not even the door panel or the area behind the silverware rack gets clean.
