[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This detergent is the only one I have purchase since first trying it over a year ago. I was pleasantly surprised that it actually does what it claims to do. I no longer feel the need to pre rinse or pre wash my dishes and glass wear. No need for rinse agent either! Saves money and time.

Rather I use the Pure Essential packs or the liquid gel, this by far has to be the worst dish cleaner ever. Clearly not formulated for the hard water of south Texas. I had to hand wash all my dishes using vinegar to get the soapy build up of just a single wash. At first I thought my dishwasher was broken until I realized it was the Cascade. Very disappointing. I always bought Cascade in the past. No more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have terrible water where we live, the dishes always had spots on them and sometimes they didn't get completely clean. I started using these and now I don't have to worry, they are clean and no more spots.

I frequently open my dishwasher to find that the gel pack has not disolved. I make sure that the soap container is dry before I put it in! I even wipe it out with a paper towel. I hate running my dishwasher again because it wastes energy and water! Any suggestions? I also don't get the cleanest dishes all the time. My dishwasher is fairly new!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cascade Platinum Action Pacs are outstanding! They get the job done every time - no matter how long the food has been stuck! Though they are a bit pricey, they are extremely worth it and make up for the price with their efficiency!

I am going to be perfectly honest here. I have used Cascade since I was old enough to help load the dishwasher. Now, I feel Cascade isn't worth a dime. While I did still use it thinking something was wrong with our dishwasher, everything would come out with a white film on it. The white film wouldn't just scrub off. I have now learned to use other products that do work. So, I am not sure whether to believe the "government says we can't use phosphate anymore" is really the culprit. I will buy Cascade again when they change the formula back to the original. In the meantime, I will try to not waste more water, use more energy, and hurt the environment trying to make my dishes clean!

I have a brand new dishwasher and really like the idea of the paks...unfortunately they dont always break, so i have to rewash my dishes with a new pak. This happens at least once a week. I am recently unemployed and dont appreciate having to use 2-3 paks for one load of dishes. i will NOT be buying this product again. I know its not the dishwasher because, like I said...its brand new, so the pouches just dont break. Sometimes when they do break, not all the cleaner comes out of the pack, so i have to dig to the bottom of the dishwasher and pull out the unbroken or partially broken pak. For the price of the paks...this is NOT ok.

This is a good quality dishwasher detergent with an awesome clean fragrance. The dishes come out sparkling clean & fresh. The price is reasonable. I like the fact that a rinse aid is built in which means one less product I have to buy! Love my shiny glasses after they are washed with Cascade Complete!!

I along with many others are pretty outraged by P&Gs decision to totally eliminate phosphates. This was an industry decision that had nothing to do with any laws in most states. I just cannot believe that in the last 40 years that this has been an issue that P&G has not found a solution. My specific case is hard water related where the first wash in the new phosphate free Cascade basically runied my everyday stainless utensils and Corel dishes. Yes with a lot of elbow grease I can get quite a bit of the white residue off but they are certinly not like before washing in Cascade. I am quite disapointed in P&G having been a loyal Cascade customer for over 30 years. I would have expected a lage company like P&G to come up with a solution rather than leaving the experimenting to us customers. You really need to review what ever policies led to this decision. Yes the industry group made the decision but you are the industry! Gimme a break!
