My family and I have been using a very cheap dishwasher that came with our house for the past seven years. We had accepted that unless we handwashed everything that went in the dishwasher the dishes would come out with spots or food somewhere on them. It became a game when putting dishes away to find the hidden dried on food! Because of the poor make of the dishwasher I always used the cheapest brand of detergeant, because I had tried everything and the dishes were always dirty. A hunch, whisper in my ear, whatever you want to call it, inspired me to try Cascade a few months ago and was I ever SURPRISED!! My dishes were coming out clean, there was no more hide-n-seek with leftovers on the dishes. We no longer had to preclean the dishes in order for them to come out clean from the dishwasher. Cascade is pleasant smelling, very convenient to use, and I love being able to tell when I need to buy more by counting how many I have left in the bag. Thank you, Thank you and Thank you.

I thought that detergent was detergent: no real difference between brands. I did appreciate the convenience of the pacs, but figured I could save some money by getting a generic version. Yikes, what a difference. It took me awhile to figure out, I thought maybe there was a problem with my dishwasher. I was having to hand wash many of my dishes after they came out of the dishwasher. And because money is an issue, I wasn't willing to throw out the remaining generic pacs, but I should have! Once I finally used them up and switched back to Cascade, my dishes and glasses are sparkly clean again. Who knew there would be that much of a difference?!?

I just washed my dishes using a Cascade ActionPac and ever bowl, plate. pan, glass and piece of silverware is coated in white residue that will not come off. I tried re-washing by hand, then in the dishwasher without detergent and the residue will not come off. We now have to replace everything that was washed even though we can't really afford it. I have never had a problem with any other detergent.

I have used these paks from day one and advise anyone that has not to use them. They get the work done. Especially on pots and pans, casserole dishs. I sent my husband to the store for some and he brought back the wrong package. I was ever so mad. I tried to make him understand that the complete works like the commerical with the drill. I f he wants clean dishs he better buy cascade complete.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have heard wonderful reviews of this product, but I have a FisherPaykel machine and the packet is slightly too large to fit into my dispenser. I have tried just putting it in the bottom,but then the contents don't disperse properly and the dishes aren't clean. You need to make them slightly smaller.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I give this product 4 stars because of the appliances I have. When I purchased my "new" home last year, the builder put in contractor grade Whirlpool appliances. My dishwasher does not have a rinse aid reservoir, and after much troubleshooting, I found that, although Cascade Platinum does not have rinse agent in it, it's still the best product to get the best clean.

I have used Cascade for years. I have tried other products but always return to Cascade. Now I will not use anything else. Cascade makes my dishes shine, even the old plates. The pans always come out clean. My dishwasher is about 15 years old, but Cascade makes it wash the dishes like it was new.

I have had residue on all my loads irregardless of the cycle I choose. Hopefully reformulation will resolve this issue. For now I will be trying another product and if and when this is resolved I will switch back. Very disappointed...new dishwasher after 20+ years of daily dishwashing by hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cascade Platinum Pacs I was using the Cascade Complete product and my clear glasses were getting cloudy, the dishes required pre-cleaning prior to placing them in my dishwasher so I decided to try the Platinum tabs and after two washes my glasses were clear again, dishes were not requiring any pre-cleaning and the pots and pans are now coming clean the dishwasher. Thank you for a great product.
