I am amazed at how well the Cascade Complete Pacs worked. Yesterday I went to the store to buy some dishwasher detergent and bought a different brand. I loaded my dishwasher with stuck on food with the thought that my dishes would come clean. I was so wrong. They came out with gross crusty food on them that was horrible. I ran the load 3 times with the same "other brand" soap with the same outcome. So I went today to get different dishwasher soap and found the Cascade Complete ActionPacs. I came home and put the ActionPac in my dishwasher, started it up and my dishes came out with not a spec on them! This will be my new dishwasher soap from now on. Thank you Cascade for such a great product.

Seriously, I cannot fathom why these have such great reviews. Not only is the cleaning power just ok, multiple times they never just stuck to the pod bay, didn't come out, didn't dissolve, didn't CLEAN, MULTIPLE TIMES. It's beyond frustrating when the dishwasher finishes its cycle and upon opening you realize you have to run the whole thing again. I'm going back to reliable good product Member's Mark and never buying these again.

I have an older dishwasher that came with the apartment I live in. You had to completely wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. I was basically using it to drain the dishes. I saw this on T.V. and went to walmart and got it. All I can say is it is almost magical the way it cleans. I tested it on several hard to wash dishes, dried oatmeal, dried rice krispy cereal and my stainless steel pots and everything came out clean, no stuck on food, no hard water residue. thank you! thank you! thank you! what a time saver. I am disabled and one of the hardest things to do is standing over the sink washing dishes.

The capsules fail to desolve and leave a residue that can be tasted. Definitely not a quality product that is to be expected of a National Brand. After using the product several times, I had to throw away most of it. No, I can not recommend that anyone buy this product.

I would not recommend the action pacs! The taste of dishwasher detergent has permeated all of my plastics. Any food stored in plastic is ruined, all of my rubber spatulas transmit the taste of detergent to my food. We use a lot of plastic with 3 kids and the house and I have had to replace it all! Very costly!

All of my glasses 24 total were ruined by etching when I switched to Cascade complete. I am horribly disappointed and will switch after I finish the pacs I have and replace all of my glasses. I have tried everything in the hope that the cloudiness was not caused by etching, but to no avail. Very disappointed.

I just used twelve of these in a cycle and still had more than a few plates and cups that looked unwashed! I usually use six of these on average and only 12 after a family gathering. I was SO disappointed and heartbroken. We cannot live like this!

I have always used Cascade so decided to try the action pacs with Gain scent. The scent actually is very nice. However, I can taste the chemicals in my coffee and food. We have had to run a second rinse to try and get this off. I've thrown away the rest of the bag which irks me because they are expensive!

What has happened to Cascade!! I have used it for decades in hard and soft water, in several states and was pleased with the results. Now the film on everything is awful - I can't see me using vinegar on a daily basis. My gold rimmed dishes are suddenly discolored & I can't use vinegar on them! The glasses and flatware come out gritty. Just because phosphates have been removed shouldn't mean the product fails. Go back to the chemists and try again!!

We tried the new Cascade with Dawn, shine shield formula, light green box. It left a white film over everything ... the old formula didn't. We have now switched to Finish and have had no problems at all. We live in rural Ont., our water is hard, from a well.
