My wife and I had been using finish for many years and had decided to try cascade since it promised better results then finish. The problem is since we switched over I have had to rewash several loads of dishes that have either had food particles left on after the dishwasher has cycled. Also every load since we have gotten cascade has had water spots on our glasses. For a company that says they pride themself on spot free and clean dishes we havent seen it. I dont know if we just got a bad batch of the cascade complete or what but I have to say their not making themselves look to good. This is disapointing since they spend so much on advertising.

This product along with cascade complete is leaving a white film on my dishes. I have used Cascade for years and it has never done this before. I am wondering if the product has been altered to meet environmental rules for California. If so, has it been altered for Nevada? I wil shop there for the old Cascade if it is available.

At first I thought I was going crazy because I have used Cascade for years but after washing with these "Complete Packs" my dishes started tasting like soap, expecially anything with plastic on it like a spatula. I can't get the taste to go away and I even do an extra rinse. I have a great , new dishwasher and it is still terrible to serve food and have it taste like soap.

Ugh - this has left a film on my glasses and has discolored my pots amd pans bottoms and my baking sheets. I'm not sure about my dishes really, they look OK, but who knows. I have read about the white vinegar which you say should take care of the problem - but my question is - why make something that ruins so many people's dishes, glasses and pots and pans. I have used Cascade I think forever, but as convenient as these packets are they don't work very well.

Several times that I have used this product it has failed to open all the way when I put them in my dishwasher. When I open up the dishwasher after a cycle the pac is only partially used. I find this very annoying because I then have to use another Pac and rerun the dishwasher costing me money and time. I really like the idea behind this product but it really is upsetting when it doesn't work.

I have used cascade complete for years and love the product, but the new fragrance of lavender is unbelievably bad. It is so strong that the dishes smell for days. When trying to drink from a glass all you can smell is lavender before you can take a drink. Don't buy this particular scent unless you like your entire house perfumed. Waste of good money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most of the action packs are stuck together and are leaking in the box. Very few of them are usable. When I try to separate them to use one, I ruin at least two more. I am really disappointed in this product.

I bought a bottle of Cascade and thought I was getting a great product. I was so wrong. I know that my water heater is doing it's job and the hot water is really hot. I put in a plate that I drained bacon on and the plate came out exactly like it went in. I could see the imprint of the paper towel I used on the plate when I drained the bacon. If I have to wash the dishes completely before i put them in the dishwasher, then why have one? I do rinse the silverware off but they came out dirty and greasy. I was very disappointed and will not use this product ever again.

I watched the commercials about how you never need to scrub your pans or rinse your dishes (which I always do) and when my store ran out of Finish I decided to give cascade with dawn a try. That was a total waste of money. The dishes and glasses all came out with alot of sediment on them and my glasses are now white instead of clear. We do have very hard water here but I never had this problem with finish. Even when I add rinse agent my dishes are dirty when they come out and I have to hand wash them. The inside of my stainless steel dishwasher also has an awful white coating all over and what looks like rust in the door. The dishwasher is one year old and looked clean before I used your product. I am going back to finish and will not use Cascade again.

I bought Cascade Actionpacks ,the 85 count pack. I really like the packs, they are convenient, easy and clean my dishes better than any other product I have purchased. The thing I didn't like about this product is that after I got about halfway through the pack, the ones at the bottom were all stuck together and were one big globby mess. I would really like to continue using this product, and like the cheaper, bigger pack, however I don't want to have to throw money away with damaged product.
