[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a load of whites with the tide free and gentle. I must say the whites are clean. The clothes came out soft and no stains left behind. The detergent is not hard on clothes and doesn't leave a residue on clothes like some others do. It does the job of cleaning. I will be washing all my blankets and sheets with this tide. This is a great product for someone who has skin reactions to scented detergents. I will recommend this product to others.

I've been pleasantly surprised that to get the benefits of “Free & Gentle” you don't lose any of Tide's well known cleaning power. This Tide Free and Gentle liquid detergent works extremely well at getting my clothes clean. They even look and feel fresh! No other brand I've tried can touch this level of cleanliness. Love that it's Free & Gentle too!

I am happy with it, it does the job and is dye and frgrance free but still leaves my clothes feeling clean and fresh. Have used on the kids clothes and it holds up to that as well. Even the grimey stuff.

Recently, I had changed to seventh generation detergent, but thought that was causing some itchiness. I went back to Tide Free and noticed the cap was clear and not blue like it used to be and the liquid itself was a different color. I started getting a rash and it was right after I switched back to this detergent. I have sensitive skin, and it has taken over my legs and arms. The medical provider I saw said it is an allergic reaction and prescribed oral steroids because it is that bad and diffuse. I'm REALLY hoping this can be put back to the original formula. This has been the only, consistent detergent I've been able to use for many years—my mom used it when I was a child and I'm 30 now.

Fragrance in detergent irritates my skin. This does not I have no issues with my skin being sensitive. I would say err on the side of using less than more as it seems a bit concentrated and even a little too much leaves a film on the clothes. Overall will happily continue to use

I have been using Tide Free and Clear for decades. Over the past 6 months I've noticed an unpleasant peanut butter type odor and the color is yellow and it seems thicker. It still seems to wash OK, but the odor is very off-putting and I will probably switch brands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, I use the tide OXI clean pods which I absolutely love. I was excited to opt in for this one but unfortunately it missed the bar for me. This seems more of a fabric softener than liquid detergent. I love that it's fragrance free but it doesn't get stains out of clothing. Just more of a clothes softener.

Cleans clothes amazingly, doesn't leave a residue or make clothes feel heavy like there's detergent left behind. And it's totally not lying when it says no perfumes. It's weird to smell absolutely nothing when using washing detergents. I'm more of a smell good person so that's why I say that, as long as it doesn't smell like cleaning stuff or soapy. If you aren't into or can't tolerate perfumes.. this is perfect. I also love the fact that it's clear because I don't care what anyone says, the color stuff totally will stain clothes, so this is awesome. Thanks Influenster, I am really digging the new format for trying products!
