[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this laundry detergent soap because I have many allergies to fragrances, colors and chemicals. My doctor recommended free and clear products for my skin. Tide makes a great job cleaning the clothes and keeping my skin with out breaking with rashes or itchy. I also like the fact that I can use the soap with HE washing machines. It works like a regular soap but it doesn't have the regular strong fragrance.

It leaves my clothes super clean and doesn't have any fragrance or dyes which tend to irritate my skin. I definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a clean detergent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received free from Influenster and I try it to wash some clothes, just with a little made a good lather and clothes wash good leaving it with a fresh and clean smell. Its not expensive and it can last for a few loads of clothes. Recommend for person with sensitive skins.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tide Free & Gentle Liquid Detergent is hypoallergenic and free of dyes and perfumes. It delivers what it promises and works wonders. We use it for the baby clothes and it gets every stains out. It's gentle on clothes and on the skin. It's a great product for anyone with skin reaction to scented fragrances. The detergent leaves clothes feeling clean and soft.

We bought a new bottle of what we have used for years and my daughter has had horrible hives for weeks until we rewashed her clothes and sheets in another detergent. We always liked Tide and couldn't use the scented because of allergies, but we're always happy with the Free and Clear. I'm sad that I may have to find a new detergent.

I am highly upset. I have used tide free for years. Recently I began to have hives on my arms feet and legs…bad red patches of dermatitis. For weeks I eliminated everything only to realize it was the washing powder!! Why have you done this? What a miserable experience. I will never buy again. Kept me up at night it was so severe.

The ingredients on the bottle do not match the ingredients online at the SmartLabel webpage. Notably, the bottle does Not contain Borax (Sodium Borate) and the bottle does contain the addition of sodium lauryl sulfate. I feel as though these are important ingredients that should be correctly listed. There are a few other ingredients that do not match up as well. Overall I'm disappointed with the cleaning power of this detergent. My kids are hard on their clothes. Food and dirt stains abound. This detergent very rarely gets all of the food stains out of my kids clothes.

I have been using Tide Free and Gentle for years due to my skin sensitivities/allergies and my daughter's eczema/allergies. My adult daughter has continued using Tide Free and Gentle, but she has had a horrible eczema flare up (itching, swelling, rash, burning) since June 2024 on parts of her body that she doesn't usually get eczema. She has been miserable and hasn't changed any of the products she's used for years. I started researching the products we use and discovered that the ingredients in Tide Free and Gentle changed around May 2024. What exactly was changed or added??

I have always had an issue with certain laundry detergents so I was nervous to use this but I'm so glad I did try it! It actually did better than my normal gentle detergent will definitely be switching to this one from now on.
