Please know, your safety is our top priority, and all our products are thoroughly evaluated to be safe when used as directed. We hope you're feeling better and we recommend discontinuing use of this dish soap to avoid any further reactions. All this being said, we want to clear up any confusion, as the formula of Dawn Platinum Refreshing Rain hasn’t changed since June, 2022. We did however update the name of the scent, dropping the “re”, so it’s now just “Dawn Platinum Fresh Rain”. In regard to the scent lingering on dishes, we wouldn't expect this to be your experience either, however, if the soap isn't completely rinsed off, or if the dishes have become porous, it is possible. If certain items always pick up a flavor, they're probably worn to the point of being porous and should be washed by hand. It might help to know that cast iron and plastic items can absorb flavors. To remove the scent/taste, please soak the dishes in hot water with some distilled white vinegar added. We'd love to hear more about your experience in order to make a complete report to our Safety Team, and to help you further.
