I’ve been using this soap for years and the recent scent change is SO disappointing. The fragrance is overwhelming and lingers so long that it lasts after sitting in cabinets and being used. I cannot stand it and really really wish the scent would revert to its original formula bc the cleaning power cannot be beat.

Nothing beats the cleaning power of Dawn and I have used it exclusively for decades, the new platinum scent is overbearing and lingering. Smelling of green tea, dirt and baby powder I assumed I got a bad bottle but it appears this is the new scent formulation. Some people might like it but its a little misleading when you have been buying a product for years in the same scent and then suddenly its completely different, why not just make a new scent line instead of replacing what was so good before? Again, it cleans wonderfully still, but the scent lingers and is off putting if you were expecting the old scent. I will be switching to the original from now on because this scent just doesn't work for me even though I prefer the platinum line for the increased cleaning.

I have been using Dawn Platinum for over a year. Amazing improvement over other Dawn brands I’d used in the past. All was well till a bought a new bottle. The previous scent was fine but now that scent is overwhelming. I can’t use it to wash my hands as the smell stays on my skin. Why wreck a top notch produce with unnecessary smell. Please wind it back!

The new dawn has an overpowering scent. It lingered on my sponge, dishes, silverware and pans. It transferred flavor to my fruits and vegetables even though the dishes were thoroughly rinsed in hot water. I don't understand the need for these strong scents in everything from toilet paper to laundry and dish detergent. Many of us are very sensitive to scent, it literally makes us sick. I would give 5 stars to your original Dawn. If you insist on continuing with this product could you please label it in large enough print so that I and others won't have to make another trip to the grocery store to return it. If not I will reluctantly have to start looking for a replacement brand.

One small bottle lasts my family an entire month and saves us money every month. I would usually have to buy two big bottles of the store brand each month and this works way better at removing grease and I can use less.

Dawn was always our go to for everything but we are sorely disappointed. It does not rinse off dishes like the old formula and you can taste it on glasses. The scent is overpowering. It is not as effective at cleaning dishes, thus needing to use more soap. Totally disappointed in a product that was the gold standard for years. it is unusable and we will be switching dish soaps after being exclusive to Dawn for over 2o years

Positively hate the new scent for the Dawn Platinum Advanced Power Formula. I have used nothing but Dawn for probably over 15 years. Product is great. But the new smell. ugh. Please change it back. Why do you need to change what was already a best seller. I have seen numerous dislikes for the new scent. And this is actually the first time I have ever given a review so that shows you how much of an impact this stinky sickening new scent has had on me. :-(

I have used this for years. I recently purchased a new bottle and was was immediately hit by this horrible odor...the bottle l Iisted the refreshing rain scent... NOTHING on the bottle listed NEW scent or formula. I am very disappointed because this soap works amazing, but I will need to find a new brand because I shouldn't want to gag while doing my dishes. Plus, you CANNOT get the smell off of your hands. Soooo Gross!

Just bought a new bottle of dawn, thought it was the regular till I started smelling it on my hands. Left me bewildered at first then I seen the scent on the bottle. Absolutely love the smell, works great against all my cooking and grease. The smell is 100% amazing. I even started looking for candles and wax’s with the same smell haha.
