I have used original Dawn for over 50 years. This new fresh scent is awful - who wants to wash dishes in cologne. YUK! If this is the scent to be for original I will take a hard pass. One of the reasons I love the original is the scent , leave things alone that is not broke.

I cook for seven to eleven people on a weekly bases and this stuff gets the tough, baked on, use your muscles to scrub off crud. I will never use another product. Dawn not only gets the crud and grease off your dishes, it gets it out of your clothes and car upholstery too!

Very, very disappointed. The rain scent is just horrid - like an overly floral perfume from the past century. Not fresh at all - more like musty. Why did you change the scent! It reminds me of when you changed the original Tide scent a few years back - this is the same awful scent that caused me to never buy Tide again! I won;t be buying Dawn anymore unless I can find the original fresh scent. Also I noticed that it is very hard to rinse the dishes, they almost seem to be coated with a slick film.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the smell of Dawn Platinum. It works great on dishes and it also an excellent pre treater for clothes. I've gotten many stains out of clothes with Dawn. It laso uses less so I not only save money, but Ican wash more duishes on a snmall amount. The scent is heavenly and makes dish washing actually relaxing and enjoyable. I highly recommened any Dawn product.

I am a loyal user of regular Dawn, I love it's grease cutting properties and it has been my favorite dish soap for many years. I recently purchased the Dawn Platinum refreshing rain scent. Although it cleans well, it has a horrible scent, I thought there was something moldy in the kitchen, it took me a while to realize it was the dish soap!

While I like the cleaning power, the scent is so overpowering and off-putting (wet cardboard and dirty socks is how my husband poetically phrased it) that I am switching back to my old soap as soo as possible. Of course we got the huge Costco-sized bottle so that will be a while. Really disappointed as this made an already unenjoyable household task so much worse

Dawn has been our go-to dish soap for decades, but this new scent is so awful we had to pour the entire bottle down the drain. And hours later we’re still suffering from the stink. Why did you take a perfectly good product and turn it into something so horrible? If we can’t continue to buy the original scent we will stop using Dawn and switch to another brand.

I was super excited to try the platinum because who doesn't love less scrubbing. I made the mistake of not smelling it before I brought home the "refreshing rain" scent, and boy did i make a mistake! I started filling my sink of hot water added the soap and found myself looking around the house trying to figure out what that smell was. My husband joined the search because he could smell it too. After many minutes of searching we realized it was in fact the dishes. We sniffed the bottle and it was the culprit. My husband described it as "the underside of a wet rock." So needless to say we will not be purchasing this particular scent again but my dishes were much less greasy and did not require 2 passes through the wash as they usually do. Great product horrible scent.

Have loyally purchased Dawn for decades but will now be shopping for a new dishwashing soap. The new “and improved” fresh scent is immediately headache inducing and turns my stomach. It smells like overpowering, heavily scented laundry detergent - not something I’ll just get used to. What a disappointment.

The cleaning power is unreal. No other dish detergent compares. A little goes a long, long way ! Really cleans the dishes fast with less scrubbing. I can put some in the dish water and immediately they are ready to wash....Hardly no scrubbing. Excellent on baked on food. Thank You for allowing me to do a review. This is the only dish liquid on the market today that I will purchase ! It's easy on my hands as well as being powerful !
