Our Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray is designed to have a semi-continuous spray, so it's possible that it may continue to spray even after you release the trigger. To avoid overspray, we suggest moving the sprayer closer to the dishes and not moving away before you release the trigger and the sprayer has stopped spraying. As well, this product is available in different scents, so we suggest trying out a new scent in the future.
