If certain items always pick up a flavor, they're probably worn to the point of being porous, and items made of cast iron and plastic items are known to absorb flavors. If you love our Powerwash but prefer a lighter scent, we recommend using our Dawn Powerwash Dish Spray Free & Clear (in the clear bottle) which has a significantly reduced amount of perfume. We suggest running warm water over the nozzle for a few minutes to loosen any clogs that may have occurred. As well, make sure that the dip tube inside the bottle is facing the correct direction. The dip tube should be facing the same direction as the sprayer, with the bottom of it in the corner. To change the direction of the dip tube, disconnect the sprayer from the bottle and reconnect it. It's also formulated with a combination of ingredients optimized to provide rapid cleaning on tough greasy messes.
