Absolutely horrible. I thought I would take a break from making my own Alfredo sauce from scratch. Never tried bottled Alfredo sauce before and being a brand name along with some of the reviews I thought I would give it a try. Never again, it was absolutely terrible and uneatable. Wasted my time, money, chicken, along with my noodles. I threw it the trash!!! And no I’m not a picky eater. I just know what taste good and what doesn’t!!! This does not taste good in the least little bit!!!if I could have given it zero stars I would have.

It's the best tasting alfredo sauce I've purchased. It's very rich and creamy and the calorie count confirms this. That said, I use it as a base since the jars are rather small (big family). I thin it out a little with some half & half, butter and more parmesan. We love it.

This is my go to brand when I don’t have time to make the sauce from scratch . When I flew back to NY to see Phantom of the Opera as it crossed the pond, a generous chef in Little Italy shared his family’s Fettuccine sauce with a 19yo California girl. It had a heavy whipping cream base, and this is the only commercially available version with that as its 1st ingredient and similar taste. Add a touch of nutmeg and Mithras cheese-yum!

Had to throw out 2 jars of this Bertolli alfredo sauce today that had been recently purchased. They were both sealed and both had black spots all in the sauce. It is 2.98 per jar and that adds up. What would cause them to get mold in them and the seal was still intact??? Crazy that they spoiled without being unsealed.
