[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ragu sauce is terrific! The taste is wonderful and goes great on pasta. It covers the pasta evenly without any clumping. It is very easy to heat up and doesn’t get any burnt spices on the bottom of the pan like I’ve had with other sauces, even though they’re being stirred regularly. The container is sealed tightly but is easy to open and gives the satisfying “pop” when opened fully. The ingredients mixed together in the sauce go so well together and isn’t an overwhelming taste like some others give.

The ingredients are great and the taste and texture is great on its own or mixed in a dish. The flavor is more reminiscent of homemade than other brands. I was given to this product, but will absolutely be purchasing in the future.

This is an amazing jar of sauce we love it on our meatballs when I don't have time to make a sauce myself and my daughter eats it on her pasta and meatballs because it's a lot easier on her belly than hone made sauce and it's just as good . We get so many compliments when we cook with Ragu, everyone thinks it's made from scratch and loves it.

I would prefer if it were made with some stewed tomatoes or fresher ingredients in general rather than powdered ingredients and tomato paste/ puree as i love the fresh tomato taste but it has good flavor nonetheless

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m someone who prefers to make my pasta sauce from scratch. I don’t find it to be a difficult or cumbersome task. I do however live in Florida and know my limits during natural disasters. That’s why this continues to be a staple in my pantry. Although the ingredients are not perfect for my family, it does excellent during hurricane season. I always keep some stocked just in case and when the season is over, we just enjoy simpler meals on complicated days. Pros: •traditional flavor that almost tastes homemade •smooth texture that my husband enjoys. He does not like chunky pasta sauce. •made with tomatoes, classic herbs and spices •long shelf life makes it an excellent pantry staple during hurricane season. Cons: •contains soybean oil, 2nd ingredient. My family aims to eat anti inflammatory foods, so this doesn’t always quite make the list. Every now and then we will indulge. It never disappoints. Ragu, I’d love to see pure olive oil instead of soybean oil!
