It had a not-too-sweet tomato flavor that was great as it was. After adding some fresh spices, and grilling up zucchini to go with it, we enjoyed an absolutely delightful and a perfect summer dinner!

The first time I tasted it was when one of my moms friends made a meal for us and I thought to myself not only does it smell good but also tastes really good. The consistency was perfect and mixed really well with the pasta. Now I use it to cook and make all kinds of recipes. This sauce has been around forever and will continue to be used by generations to come. Love it and so does my family.

Does management read theses reviews? I've used Ragu traditional for over 20 years, since adding olive oil it is horrible and the consistency is like puréed baby food. Please, please, please go back to the original formula. Before writing this review I read other reviews and it seems I am not alone. There is no place for a zero review therefore I will have to give it one star.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Ragu. I love that it’s made with olive oil. My family loves spaghetti, it’s pretty much our go to for a quick dinner. Having the sauce in a glass jar assures the sauce and favor to be kept fresh. Spaghetti with ragu sauce and a side salad with garlic bread will fill any ones stomach when you need a good and quick meal.

The last jar of Ragu traditional old world sauce was terrible! After 40+ years of buying a sauce that I could count on to be what my family loved, I was so disappointed to learn that the formula has changed. The texture seems thicker and the taste is different, not in a good way! That is the last jar of Ragu I will buy unless they bring back the old recipe.
