I enjoyed the flavor and texture of the Old World Style sauce from Ragu. It seems like the brand has improved in quality, and it didn’t taste too sugar-y, which I liked. I didn’t notice any tomato chunks which was a little disappointing, but if you are weird about texture, then this is real smooth. The packaging is appealing, though it looks like most of the other Ragu choices. I used the entire jar with a full box of spaghetti, and it seemed to be a perfect amount of sauce to soak up the noodles. My kids had seconds which is a nod to this being enjoyable by them. I’m not sure if I’ll drop my current favorite brands for this one, but I will consider adding it to my rotation.

You can add more to it if you want more spice or in our case I had my daughter add a little basil to hers because she likes that taste. The jar is plentiful. lots in there I think our family can get two meals out of one jar. There seem to be some chunks of tomatoes in there, adding some texture which is welcomed and the claim of 40% of a daily serving of vegetables is good because my parent my children eat a lot of pasta. It helps to get some veggies snuck in!
