I would say this sauce is on the sweeter side, which I prefer, but it might not be for everyone. The ingredients are straight forward which is the biggest selling point for me, no artificial flavors or preservatives were listed. Overall, I would use this sauce again to make pasta night something my family enjoys (and actually eats).

Her mom taught me how simple it was to make, so I felt like I had become the spaghetti-making master… turns out Ragu is just that good! Any time I make spaghetti without Ragu, it just isn’t the same. All of the flavors are delicious, even the ones I don’t usually like from other brands.

I would prefer if it were made with some stewed tomatoes or fresher ingredients in general rather than powdered ingredients and tomato paste/ puree as i love the fresh tomato taste but it has good flavor nonetheless

It’s so great for the picky eaters in my house but also has enough flavor that I don’t feel like I’m missing out! It’s smooth and delicious you get all the onion and garlic flavor with none of the chunks that can turn a lot of people off. The classic glass jar is easy enough to open and perfect if you don’t plan on using all 5 servings at once. At only 70 calories per serving, it’s completely guilt free too. You can see the ingredient list that there are only 9 ingredients and NO PRESERVATIVES or artificial ingredients. The unopened jar is good for 2 years (not that it’ll last that long in my pantry) Ragu is something you can be proud to serve your family.

I love the flavor and it had really great ingredients in this pasta sauce, it reminds me the sauce my aunt used to make growing up. The texture wasn’t too bad it was too loose and it wasn’t too thick it was just right!

The ingredients seem healthy and go well together. You can make many dishes with the sauce, but I chose to make spaghetti and it was Fantastic. This Ragu sauce has the perfect texture, not too thick and definitely not runny. It incorporated perfectly into the American Chop Suey I made, adding a delicious and tangy, yet not the least bit spicy, tomato flavor. The glass jar is perfect to help protect the integrity of the product and prevent flavor changes that can occur with metal and plastic containers. This is a product I already use and love. I will continue purchasing this sauce, because it’s perfect for the whole family!

The texture of the sauce is just right, not too thick or watery. There is a nice hint of garlic which can enhance any pasta dish or sub.
