[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been a fan of Ragu, it's what I use almost every time I make spaghetti. I do not know what went wrong with these but I couldn't eat it. I tried using it twice and just couldn't eat it, neither could my husband. The taste was absolutely awful . Maybe it where it was made with olive oil but I really do not know.

I have eaten Ragu for 45 years but I will never buy again now that they changed the recipe. Why would they do this to their faithful purchasers?It's absolutely terrible. I suppose I'll be trying other brands because I'm done with this one! And a one star rating is too good for this product but it won't let you choose none.

I'm very disappointed in the "new and improved" sauce recipe. I buy Ragu because it's the only red sauce my kid will eat (and it's what I ate as a kid). Now that it tastes like Classico and Prego, she won't eat any red sauces. Please bring back the original!!!!

The first time I tasted it was when one of my moms friends made a meal for us and I thought to myself not only does it smell good but also tastes really good. The consistency was perfect and mixed really well with the pasta. Now I use it to cook and make all kinds of recipes. This sauce has been around forever and will continue to be used by generations to come. Love it and so does my family.

Does management read theses reviews? I've used Ragu traditional for over 20 years, since adding olive oil it is horrible and the consistency is like puréed baby food. Please, please, please go back to the original formula. Before writing this review I read other reviews and it seems I am not alone. There is no place for a zero review therefore I will have to give it one star.

The new recipe is absolutely AWFUL. We eat spaghetti once a week and it is ALWAYS with this Ragu sauce. My poor husband thought I was playing a prank on him after the very first bite. He and my son have always LOVED this sauce but could barely make a couple of bites at dinner. I've never been a Ragu fan, but always eat it because they love it. This sauce is really, really atrocious now - we couldn't even choke it down (even with me trying to fix it on the stove with seasonings). Why change the "Original" recipe instead of making a new sauce? And how did this make it out of the test kitchen?!? I agree with other reviewers, I have a hard time believing the only change is olive oil. This sauce is truly terrible now and my family has already proclaimed an end to spaghetti night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] By far the best red sauce for our family. I have used Ragu traditional sauce for 42 years. We love the plain sauce for spaghetti, goulash etc. I add a few spices for our taste however it doesn't necessarily need any.

This sauce was easy to use. I was able to use half the jar to make pasta and used the other half for homemade pizza. I enjoyed the taste - it wasn't very sweet like some sauces. It added delicious flavor to our meals. I would buy this product in the future when making different Italian style dishes. I recommend this sauce to anyone looking to add delicious flavor to a tomato-sauce based dish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like making my own sauce but when I do not have time this is my go to! It is almost like it would be my homemade sauce! And you can not beat the price! Also like that it comes in a jar, I am not too big on the canned stuff.
