We sometimes doctor ours up with fresh basil, oregano, minced fresh garlic. Just depends on what we'll be using it for. But, it tastes great right out of the jar with nothing else added too. Not sweet like some of the competitors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, I have never tried Ragu before because it was the butt of many Italian American jokes when I was growing up- but today I did and I have to say, it’s a decent sauce! It’s sweet, tomato-y, and has the taste of traditional Italian herbs and spices. Is it the best sauce on the market? No. But it’s never going to let you down in a pinch. I think it would be a really good dipping sauce for mozzarella sticks or fried ravioli.

My family has been using Old World Style Traditional Sauce for over 40 years. Its was the base of many of our recipes. The change that Ragu has made to the sauce has made it completely unpalatable. Everyone I know has stoped using this new Ragu sauce and switched brands. Please bring back the old recipe.
